Panthers up to 13543.
Seem to be doing well at home games signing up members so the next two weeks should be good. 15000 is in the bag.

according to news ltd articles, memberships are down this year?

Notice how news ltd use the final reported figure from may or June 2013 to build an air of crisis. If anything shows there agenda and outright disgusting standard of journalism this is it, clear as day

no update from DT today unless I missed it.

last year saw only a slight increase from April(209,633) to July(222,126). hopefully with the surprising results and the membership drive teams can keep a steady increase and get to 260k(13% increase on last year). might be day dreaming but it could happen.

It will be interesting to later in the season compare membership numbers to the average crowd figures for each club.

Congrats to the Panthers. There's no telling where their membership cap is. With a winning team (fingers crossed) they could push 20K next year.

You'd expect the Eels and Dogs numbers to grow by a few more thousand at the very least this season. The Warriors should be nearly double what they are now.

The only positive of suburban grounds is the small capacity.

As it is, that means shit all now, but if clubs can drive membership to the point that they are selling out these stands before the season starts, like the Panthers have the opportunity of doing over the next few years, then these clubs ill begin to prosper like never before...

yep! solid increase for the club, was just disappointing it only happened as we started winning games.

ddn't realise we had that many fair weather fans...oh well. members are members

also, should be high retention rate for the club next year since this is the first year rolling renewals are used and are being promoted heavily ($8.50 a month or whatever).
