How many tickets need to be sold to stay on track for this 2017/400,000 target???

So i wrote this 1 month ago on here, but i'l just tweak it a bit...

if we can get a 15% growth from last year that will be a reasonable outcome. so the target is around 260,000 total members (1,777 more members each club) which is pretty achievable i think.

so if we get 260,000k, looking back, and looking at the target dave smith set (400,000k members by 2017).. my targets would be:

2009 total 113,667
2010 total 142,849 (26% growth on 2009)
2011 total 180,181 (26% growth on 2010)
2012 total 204,361 (13% growth on 2011)
2013 total 229,124 (12% growth on 2012)
2014 target 260,000 (14-15% growth on 2013)
2015 target 306,000 (18% growth on 2014)
2016 target 353,000 (15% growth on 2015)
2017 target 400,000 (13% growth on 2016)

looks like it is a real possibilty, and a chance to push 450,000 if he memberships advertising and drives sorts its shit out in the next year or 2...

but we are on our way to 260k, only 28.5k to go.

EDIT:
2017 membership table. obviously just a complete guess. but these figures add up to the 400k target.

Rabbitohs 40000
Broncos 40000
Dragons 34000
Eels 30000
Knights 28000
Roosters 25000
Bulldogs 28000
Panthers 25000
Storm 25000
Sea Eagles 20000
Cowboys 20000
Warriors 20000
Sharks/perth 15000
Tigers/bris 2? 15000
Titans 20000
Raiders 15000

Total 400,000
Average 25,000
Min 15,000
Max 40,000

So crazy I am suspicious
I don't think we have any dead members or pets, if that's what you're suggesting.
Well done Penrith fans, we always had the potential. It looks like we may be overtaking a few more clubs in the next few weeks

When looking at that table of memberships I just don't see that being the case by 2017 (by that I mean the NRL hitting 400k)

Panthers look like certainties for hitting 15k well and truly before the season is over. 50% over the target... while the target for next year would have been 15,000 you would imagine. So now I think they need to push for 20,000 members. And getting the majority of them to attend games. Not that I can talk, me and my family have only made it to 1 game so far. The threat of rain keeping us away with a 3 month old and 16 month old baby to worry about.

I don't think anyone last year would have thought it possible that Penrith would have over 15,000 members for 2014 either
but they will

so I wouldn't count anything out

Starting with Monday night
Its forecast for fine weather .... its the top of the table side they're playing
its school holidays so the kids can come along

It should be a good turnout.

Only problem is families going away for the long weekend. I'll be hopefully home well and truly in time for the game on Monday. But right now we're away on holidays with a large group of family. Unsure of exactly what time we will be leaving to get home.

Also got the fact its against an interstate team who has a small supporter base even at home, and a lot of fans having work the following day. I can see an average crowd regardless of the weather.

25000 by 2017 doesn't look that unachievable. As it stand over 15000 is likely. Royce sure has a lot of friends down at wallacia pub.

Given Penrith should be in for a period of a few years of finals football and potentially contending from next year, they should be able to get 25000 by 2017.

I think we've always had plenty of dormant fans. Ones that become a member for a year or so, but not renewing every year. After decades of disappointment and false hope, it seems the people can sense a real change happening. We've heard the myth of the "Sleeping Giant" since .....forever.

Now, what to do with the prize money? Golden statue of Gus?
