Re Parra - At least they have what should be a decent upgrade at hooker, which can make a big difference to the performance of even an average set of forwards. They'll be a little better I think, although it's still a bog average forward pack

We now have competition for most positions which is great. A complete overhaul of the halves which was desperately needed. If we get a bit of luck with injury I can see us finishing 6th.
I can also see Joel Thompson really challenging for a state of origin spot. He is a big tough boy and can play. I think this year can be his breakout year.

Player of the year: Dugan
Top point scorer: Widdop

Re Parra

Mannah, Peats and Mossop in the front row is actually alright

Their issue is their back row is poor and Fui is just getting older and older and can't possibly sustain the anger for another whole year. A bench support for 30 minutes per game at best.

If they can uncover a decent youngster along the lines of Nappa, Guerra or Cordner then they will actually be alright. No one thought much of Guerra at the start of last season and then he stepped up big time.

Every team comes up with a surprise player each year. Fingers crossed for Parra fans they get a couple of surprises in there to bolster their pack.

Cows to finish 5th but we will miss Matty Bowen big time!

Yeah i think this is what Green will do come rd 1. Fingers crossed he doesn't play favourites like Henry, the lack of Ash graham makes me very happy.

Rob Lui looks like he's in good nick..........

if the titans get lucky with injuries that team could go far. I like the 6/7/9 allare very young and extremely talented.

Probably forgotten one or two, plenty of exciting young talent ready to step up also.

Dunamis Lui will probably be on the bench

With Fish, Locke, Tomkins in the squad the back line is hard to pick. If Leuluai can play 80, I'd include Ben Henry on the bench instead of Siliva Havili. Friend is not dominant enough in the tackle to start and would provide zero bench impact. We're missing size and aggression in the forward pack. Sam Lousi will help but tbh we need to buy a new prop or two. Tomkins is my six for his kicking game and vision. Townsend will not steer us to the eight, but is solid depth. If Locke is out of form, Fish gets the gig.

And Watmough will be sitting on the side lines with Gallen and numerous other Sharkies and ex-Sharkies. Manly as a club have nothing to worry about. But Watmough is gone for all money.
