to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Brooks is rested at halftime and Austin replaces him.

I honestly believe that Potter has decided Anasta will be the five-eighth and he's still unsure whether to throw Brooks in the deep end straight away, or whether he wants to give him a few games in lower grades and then ease him in.
Id be surprised if he is rested, given its his first and only hit out b4 the comp starts....h'ed wanna get as much match fitness as possible.
might get replace late if he runs out of steam ...but really he should play 80 imo

Lulia, Paterson, Anasta, Thompson, Austin. If these players are in FG we are going to run bottom 4.

Paterson and Austin I will reserve judgement on until the season starts and we get to see them play. I am with you on the others though. We need a fit Simona and Lawrence as our centres and I see Anasta as our 4th pick 5/8 at best (behind Austin, Siro and Moltz and assuming Moses is a year off FG).

Boom Tigers beat sharks. All you sceptics need to keep the faith. If Tigers keep healthy we can be a finals force again

There was only one thing positive about Austin's game and that was Adam Blair played also. Blair was beyond shit. Gave away the first 4 penalties on his own. Austin is a NSW Cup player at best. I'd rather Anasta and that's saying something.

Sounds like he Austin is going well. I like the idea of playing a 3rd prop at lock and I think Blair can play that role well however I think Sue and BMM would play the role better and Fulton would also probably slot in there as a workhorse lock and offer the team more.

Still my impression of the game was that our outside backs went great and our forward pack was also pretty good.

we win the first Morris/Ryan/Heighington/Fifita/De Gois/Gibbs/Ayshford trophy. Yay.

Taupau would be my man if we were to go down that path. When he hits they stay hit and good lateral movement. Was very impressed

Lulia will be a good depth centre. Decent defender, solid all round game. Good to have these people when injuries strike.

How good is it to have Richards nailing 4/4, including 2 from the side line. He went off with a knee niggle, hope he is okay.

I really wondered why we signed him but I can see the value that he brings. The only thing is Koro on the highlights showed how good he can be as well. Richards is solid and a really good player whereas Koro isn't quite there yet but he will score some tries.

I'd like to have them both out there however SImona and Nofo to me slot back straight into the starting side. We have one too many quality outside backs at this point if they are ever all injury free.

In funny news Noyce continues his hiring of ex WT people.

Right down to that worthless hack ground announcer with more oil in his hair then the Exxon Valdez spilled in Alaska "Chippa"

What a merkin of a club

How is Austin a NSW Cup player at best?! He trialled extremely well against the Panthers and played a decent game last night when alot of fringe players came on to the park. Wouldn't trust TYGA's opinion on any player, saying we won't make the top 12 if we Patterson plays shows his lack of ability in judging players particulary when he has been one of the standouts in the trialling period and at training. I hope people are aware that nines isn't even close to a thirteen man game. Standouts for me last night were Tedesco, Tapau and a tempered Farah. In the 20's match Te Maire Martin, Levido, Seve and Woods all had great games.

Koro is a gun with the ball in his hands. He is defensively terrible however, and was again in the trial. Hope he kicks on to be as good as we all hope.

Blair's miss on Fifita,f**king embarrassing to say the least, some one should tell him that a player can and is allowed to tacke around the legs rather than arm grab from behind when a player runs past him.

Did Blair miss Fifita or was he the one chasing him across field that left a yawning gap to cut back into?
