Would Belmore have gotten more on a Sunday arvo? Will it sell out regardless?

Is this likely to be a one time thing or once a season thing against a low drawing/out of town side to boost the crowd.

Sort of like to go, just to experience an old sydney ground I never made it to.

The "Back to Belmore" Game is officially Round 20 v the Sharks on Sunday July 26. This game is a "bonus" which was supposed to be at ANZ but once the club learned it was Monday, applied and were successful getting it moved to Belmore.

Souths should be the highest attended team in NSW not the Swans. To think since the Super-League war the Swans are the highest attended team in a rugby league heartland. Complete contradiction of a heartland to have the other code have the highest average attendance, it be like the Storm being the top attended team in Victoria.

Hardly a surprise an hour before kickoff. Who really cares enough to go and watch under 20's except a diehard few. But would be surprised by anything over 15k

I agree with your comments but its going to require a late run of big numbers to even get close tp 15000

Very smart of the bulldogs. Timmah do you know if they will be playing their every season now?

Would be interesting to see a heritage round with games at belmore, north sydney and say henson park for example. Even though 2 of the grounds are not home to anybody in the nrl might still draw a decent crowd out for the novelty factor.

Could have say
saturday arvo souths v manly @NSO with norths v manly nsw cup curtain raiser.
sunday arvo sharks v roosters @ henson park with newtown in the curtain raiser
monday night bulldogs v out of town @ belmore

It's sub 28k. Might fill in a little.
Isn't a reason for the crap crowd, but I've rarely seen a less attended away bay.
