Isn't the SFS closer to majority of Souths fans? I'll give them someway due to Thursday night but crowd looks absolutely woeful.

Awful on the eastern side. Hopefully it fills in a bit more, but not looking flash at all.

Very hard to get into a game being played in front of nobody, this is 4th v 2nd, the premiers home game ffs! Makes roosters look good.

Fans are just customers at the end of the day. It's a dumb business that blames failure on customers not turning up. Attendance has to become the nrl's number 1 priority ip over next few years and use its money for something useful.

Im here also. I think it will fill out a bit. Quite a lot of people round the ground, people coming in etc

this is what happens when every part off the game is built to suit TV, not to encourage people to get to the game. the only people who benefit from a Thursday night game are channel 9, problem is that small crowds take away atmosphere which lessens the viewing experience and will over time effect the tv audience.
For all those comparing the NRL tv deal to the AFL, a bit of perspective, we are going to watch Fremantle v Melbourne on sunday (not by choice), top verses bottom nothing game and its sold out 40k+ because their focus has always been getting people to the ground.
