I think tonight we've got a good idea why their crowds never seem to reflect their huge membership base. Someone at Souths is good at inflating numbers.

There is no way that last sat nights crowd could be 19k and tonight's is 12k meaning only a 7k difference..there would be lucky to be 5k in total tonight, creative counting at its best.

There is a decent amount on the broadcast side, honestly don't have a problem with the announced attendance.

Good luck getting more than 20k next week for roosters v Souths, barely that many fans in Sydney between them, they can play for the bandwagon cup!

A team in Perth would have got a bigger crowd, maybe Souths should move to Perth?
