What was the highest ever at Suncorp?

Origin 3 this year was 52,500 (but there was definitely more, they aren't allowed to announce higher than 52,500 for legal reasons). Probably about 52,800 - 53,100. It was awesome looking at all the people standing.

Wallabies v British and Irish Lions got 52,499 and a couple of other Origins got 52,498. These without standing tickets.

Thanks for that.

It's sure going to be chokers on Saturday.

Will be like an origin atmosphere!

Media calling it Origin 4! But there wont be all that much hate there!

Obviously every team has bad fans. But the Dogs, down there, it seems a problem, just way to much aggression.

They even needed riot police to move them along after the Prelim final last year, which I was at and decided to sit in the Bulldogs supporters areas, moved around a fair few times because of absolute idiots.

Went and sat with Penrith fans, they were cool.

Doggies supporters up here are cool, usually all islander and smiley as with good banter.

Well said.

At a game a few years ago Dogs fans were saying horrible words I won't say what. They wanted Ennis to break G. Burgess legs and then after Ennis completed the tackle he went off with a concussion and didn't return!!!

Souths supporters then said a couple of things to the Dogs supporter not harsh words but just look what's happened now kind of thing. The Dogs supporters then started becoming aggressive, he had 6 kids with him. His wife tried to calm him down and eventually it worked. If not for his wife who knows what would've happened???

No you don't. Stop making up rubbish to suit your argument

I'm telling the truth here.

Cut out your hatred/grudge just because I'm a Bunnies member.

On this forum you seem to be the most bitter and twisted Broncos supporter.

Just cut it out, ok!

One of the Doggies fans gestured "fingering" as my girlfriend walked up the stairs. I'm not an aggressive person, I see it as a complement, ha.

The team you support has little to do with the fact you're an annoying little twat who constantly spews out verbal diarrhea.

You're clearly pulling figures out of your arse in this thread and making up rubbish storeys.

:lol::lol:

On a serious note last year at Souths v Dogs in a round match there was a gang of 25 Dogs supporters picking on a Souths lady in her mid 20s.

There wasn't any security/police around either.

In the end the lady managed to break away from them and went running in tears!

97percent of the time I post truth. I don't talk much trash.

Every time you reply to me you have horrible filthy words to say. Even in the cricket thread!

It has a lot to do with who I support so you're wrong there.

Cut out the hatred man! Be civil please in future if it's not too hard for you!

Spot on.

Very very true.

I'm not shocked that Dragons seats aren't selling as well. I don't blame them.

Their supporters are fearful I reckon of taking their whole family to the match for safety reasons.

So they're probably thinking we will watch it at home and avoid risk.

Also Raelene Castle is a do gooder. Has she come out this week asking the Dogs supporters to behave????? No she has not.

Centrelink payment came through aye... You can afford the Net for another week!

St George fans are fickle... They think they're no chance (Which they're a MASSIVE chance)... All my mates are St George supporters are non of them are going because of that reason... Hence why they never pack out Kogarah unless they're first!

Well that's another reason too. They think they're no chance. But they are if the Dogs play like they did against the Warriors.

I can't argue either when you say St George fans are fickle. Very true.

What do you reckon Souths v Sharks will get? I reckon about 27-28k. With 50/50 support for both sides.

I'm going, I'm happy I got seats on the halfway line.

What bay/aisle did you get tickets in for your match?

Looks like it will be about 36k.

I thought they'd get 40-45k.

Security reasons is keeping the crowd below YOUR expectations right? People fearing Doggie supporters?

What was the excuse for the absolute pathetic crowd in last years GF Qualifier V Roosters? 52592, everyone the whole final series was going on how this would get 80,000... You cannot use the excuse only a few thousand Roosters supporters went because tens of thousands went (I was at the game and thought they almost outnumbered South supporters), you cannot use the excuse they're Penrith and don't have more then 5K supporters who bother going 1 hour down the road.

The crowd on Saturday will be bigger then your pathetic club will be playing in front of... They win the GF last year for the 1st time in 40 odd years (LOL) and they can only manage an crowd average of 16,600 this year...

You Muppets are not the pride of the League... You're the Pride of Glen Innes!

The Dragons will be pumped 13+, it's the only reason tickets aren't selling as well as they should to Dragons supporters.
It's not like they have no supporters, they have a big following.

I think quite a few Souths supporters got grand final tickets last year meaning they couldn't afford to attend any other finals matches. The GF tickets were more expensive last year than this year.

I missed the Manly finals wk 1 last year as I couldn't make it. But I was at the prelim and GF.

At the prelim last year there was Roosters supporters in 111, 112, 113, 114 and 115. That was it pretty much.

There was only 7-8k Roosters supporters there. The other 40 odd thousand were Souths members.

When the man on the mic said any Roosters supporters here there wasn't much noise at all apart from boos.

That's as there was pretty much a sea of red and green.

You're a decent Dogs supporter! An example for some of the others!

Aisle 110 is good. About 15m from the try line. Row 26 is very good too.

At Souths home games I'm in 107.

The Burrow sit in 110-111.

I tried! I even offered to sit in the St George areas with them! They won't go, so I bought tickets in the Bulldog sections with 3 work mates (Who don't really follow either team).

I always (try to) force my mates, usually I bribe them with beer, haha.
