Different scenario. Clive capped at 5k so he didn't have to pay a surcharge. The Titans aren't doing the capping here. Negotiation argy bargy over a new stadium deal. The Titans need to take a home game interstate or to country Queensland to show they're serious.

But, not allowing seating in the Southern Stand removes most of the General Admission bays, hence ppl will have to pay more to sit in the Steel section on the opposite (Northern Stand) side of the ground, as can be seen. Another money-grubbing exercise from Stadiums Queensland:

Stadiums Queensland really have screwed over the Titans from day 1. I will never know how Gallop et al. ever allowed such a dodgy stadium deal to be signed off on back in 2008. What's the point playing out of a state of the art ground when you've got these sort of problems? It'd be interesting to see what stadium agreement was negotiated for the Suns AFL side at Metricon Stadium.

A far cry from the last Saturday 3pm game Gold Coast had back in 2009, which got nearly 20k:

Surely they can sort this shit out with cbus stadium

Stadiums Queensland trying to rort the Titans again:

http://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au...us-super-stadium/story-fnj9yd9w-1227302099868

The Titans had been paying $1.8million to $2million-a-year to play 12 games at the venue and are intent on not signing such an expensive contract again.

Absolute rip-off if you ask me. On the other side of the coin, teams like Tigers and Rabbitohs GET PAID to play at ANZ Stadium, irrespective of how many ppl turn up.

It seems like the Titans got screwed and the Suns got preferential treatment from Stadiums Queensland

NO rain forecast for tonight's Bulldogs vs Manly clash and since it is not live in Sydney than I'm predicting they will get 20k

think it is live now, 9 changed it during the week.

9 changed it the other way during the week (or Sunday to be more exact). Was meant to be Bulldogs v Manly live but got switched because both teams are plodders whereas Broncos v Dragons is 1 v 3

What would the options be to shift games? sunshine coast, cairns or mackay all candidates imo. i guess it has to be a ground not run by stadiums qld.

As the only tennant you would think the nrl would be able to get a decent deal and probably include internationals to maximise the number of rl games on the coast
