chooks averaged 14k after a premiership, i think its safe to say the bandwagon has left.

not exactly gonna pull 30k against the sharks even if it is a long weekend.

However, as you can see this is the first daytime Sunday game in a long time, not to mention over a long weekend and not in the dead of winter (and during SOO) like the rest

edit: 2013 had the wrong numbers, 13.7k not 9k

You expected two Sydney teams to pull 9k on a warm sunny afternoon during a long weekend?

I shudder to think what you expected the crowd would have been in the rain on A Saturday night in the middle of winter.

Not that it's any great shock, but I think we could be in for a decent turn out for Melbourne V NZ. I've been playing around with the ticket webpage and a lot of areas are no tickets available or have 'single tickets available'.(you get it by hovering above the bay you wish to look at) This is historically a big crowd puller, but I thought that the shifting from ANZAC day may have adversly affected the attendance. It's either selling well, or they haven't released whole bays yet which would be a worry :/
I will now go and contemplate how sad my life has become.

Would've drawn more had it been at 7pm and not 5pm. Having the Storm/Warriors match at 5pm clashes with Hawthorn/Geelong which is expected to get 70k+ at the MCG.

Poor scheduling having 3 games on Monday.
