Personally i think the Knights coming last really help the averages though. Newcastle still averaged 20k-ish and them missing the 8 meant 1 more team could please the fans by being competitive.

I reckon about 36 here tonight. Western stand is pretty full and the get off the lower bowl is good. Surprising looking around how many corporate boxes aren't being used though.

I guess in their defence they have not had an afternoon game yet and have had a sunday 6.30, friday 8.30, sat 5.30 and Friday 7.45 kickoffs. But i still expected better tonight coming off a win and a good buzz generated off Bird's performance

It was f**ken pissing down. It pissed down 2 hours before kick off, then cleared, then pissed down an hour before kick off, cleared for the first half then pissed down all 2nd half. I was sitting in the covered ET stand and still got wet.

The club has improved the game day experience, is marketing the shit out of the games and the side is playing well. The crowds will improve.
