The weather looked terrible lol. Got to watch out for them clouds! Probably about right. Most sydney clubs have 9-12k home club fans in reality as evidenced when ever they play an out of town team.

Also from where I was sitting at Parra, I thought theyd be more than 11,000. Not surprised it cleared up in the afternoon given how weird the weather's been lately lol.

Look across the remaining rounds, there are maybe 5 rounds that will go above a 16k average so its going to be a long hard season of disappointing crowds to come

We had 2 crowds of 11,000 today in decent weather and reasonably priced. Both should have been closer to or exceeding 15k for any sign of progress being made

As for the ARLC grand vision of a 20k average that seems delusional at this stage and i hope someone in the media hounds them about it.

we're sitting at 650k after 5 rounds. should be around 780k after 6 rounds

we were at 639k same time last year and 747k after 6 rounds.

although 703k 2013, and 2 big rounds in round 6 and 7 that year too meant we were sitting on a 18.5k avg for the year.

crowds are hard to predict sometimes, weathers been shite lately. might come good at the back end of the season and we could finish with a 16k+ average you never know. even this week we should get over 16k for the round

It was pouring at Cronulla on and off all day, before the game and during the game.. 10k wasn't too bad all things considering.

Given Dragons and Bulldogs have two of the largest supporter bases in Sydney, factoring in weather, anything less than 30k will be disappointing. 30k is the pass mark IMO. If the NRL are going to give them a marquee public holiday matchup in June (Queen's Birthday Holiday), then both teams need to deliver the goods tomorrow and show they are worthy of that.

When comparing crowd figures between this year and 2014 people need to remember that the Easter round for last season was stilled to be played. So the figures will be a little distorted in favour of this season. Comparison wise between the two seasons we will have a better idea after the ANZAC Day round.
