That would be far higher than the historic average against Easts, I would assume.

Yeah, the only ones I can remember that were good was a 35k in 2004 or 2005 ??

Last year was 33k, most turned out to farewell JYY. Mid you 38,800 tickets were sold to that game.

Then in 2010 there was a 26k on a Monday night.

Easts are not crowd pullers either, much like Penrith, I doubt there will be much more than 2,500 there. But like all opposition fans they will be LOUD.

its a good match, it will show whether the donkeys are fair dinkum this year or not.

Yeah I think if we win this one and then the next we will get close to 45k for Anzac day.

Momentum is building in Brisbane, but such a shame they've been lazy with marketing - I haven't seen any sponsored facebook posts, adds or signs around bus stops.

Fantastic! Beautiful day today, so it should be the nicest night at the footy for a bit. Will be nice not to lose 3kg in sweat at a Friday night game.

Haha how good will this be!

We have even shifted 150 or so tickets this hour, usually on game day its dead till about four.

Do you remember the incredible rock up we got on the Friday night last year vs the Eels? It was insane, if we get one like that we will nudge the rabbits crowd.

Specials ticket prices for this weekend.

Rugby league fans will be able to watch their favourite team from as little as $5 a person this weekend.
A special $20 family pre-purchase ticket will be available for Saturday's game between the Eels and Titans at Pirtek Stadium.
Adult tickets will be available from $10 and children's tickets from $5.
On Sunday, a $39 family pre-purchase ticket will be available for the clash between the Dragons and Bulldogs.
That's less than $10 per person and rail travel is included in the ticket price.
Fans can pre-purchase tickets on tickets.nrl.com

It's great to see these promotions becoming more frequent. The game is heading in the right direction of they continue to build on these sorts of things.

Brilliant weather in Brisbane today. Best weather we have had since early September from Tuesday to today.

Problem being turing winds coming from the south east to pump moisture into the air.

Apparently a 90% of 0.2mm - 5mm. Hopefully they come and go around 10-11am and we see the Sun. Could be anywhere from 31k - 34k.

Selling Maroon in Level 7, this would usually indicate at least 33k in "Suncorp GA mode", but there are a fair few tickets left throughout level 6 and a few to sell across all GA blocks.

Roughly 3 half full level 5 white bays left then white will start on level 7.
Not a cloud in the sky today, perfect weather should be no excuses for a good crowd.

When Broncos is strong, NRL crowds is strong. When Souths/Roosters are strong, crowds go down.

Our crowds are above average. We're pulling the average up. Yes Brisbane does that too and a successful Brisbane would help more.

The issue hasn't been Souths. It has been Manly and Easts winning so much when their ceiling for growth is so low.

If the top 4 one day is Souths, Brisbane, Parra, Dogs, we will have a record season average.

In 2005 the top four was Parra, STI, Wests and Brisbane with NQL and Newcastle in the eight. The Dogs were also the premiers the year before so their crowds were naturally big. We still haven't seen a year with average attendances like it since. Clearly the teams that are doing well are the biggest determinate on crowds.

That's only because we have done so little to build the fanbase of the game and of every club. If a team is going well on field fans think it is worth attending, if not so good or not meeting unrealistic expectation whats the point in going to a game? Its an attitude that the NRL and clubs need to change. You go to a game because its a must do thing, either because you feel a part of the club so much you want to be there for the highs and lows or it such good value for an entertaining afternoon/evening out that you want to use your valuable social time and cash to attend.

The Knights came dead last that year.
