I wonder how the inequity of costs of a membership effect people's willingness to purchase. For some difference is significant ie souths 11 home games plus charity shield plus 4 away games for $245. Compare that to say manly which is $230 to stand with no cover. If I was a manly fan I'd consider that a bit of rip off in comparison. Titans premium $549 compared to storm premium $485. Maybe if prices were equal around the league more people might take up memberships?

Value for money is also questionable in some packages.

If I were a Wests Magpies fan I would be happier with a compromise that actually had the West name and logo existing with more relevance.

Perhaps I'm out of touch, but at the moment, I don't see an obvious presence of the Wests Magpies in the current set up? Mind you this has been all brought about by our administrators whom fell on their sword after the Super league war which was 'won' in the publics eyes by the ARL but the ARL gave News Ltd/superleague the axe to our game!

That's the cause of this mess . My solution is only a compromise that I think is OK not ideal but workable.

Lol as if you speak for Wests fans lol. The new board is finally taking the club in it's own direction and away from people like you who try to hold the club back with your "boo hoo there is too much orange on the merchandise." and "They are not doing enough to engage the area." What did Robbie Farah refuse to come to your birthday or something? The day you turned you back on the Wests Tigers was a day that should be celebrated by the entire club.

Speaking of Wests, the ticker is up to 6307. That's about 1200 up on this time last year.

Can't complain about the Knights deal for family reserved seating (community reserved) 2 adults and 2 kids* it is $430 for 12 home games...and it comes out in 10 monthly instalments for no additional fee

* This price was maintained from last year, even though my young bloke turned 16 and should be charged as an 'adult' for pricing - I think that is damn good value!

That is good, the Wests Tigers family reserved is $1000. Knights are good value, comparable membership to the Wests Tigers family reserved is closer to $800 than $1000.

We can safely assume we're in front of last year given there are three clubs sans figures

Raiders members email today says that the club 'are fast approaching 7,000 members for this season'.

Make of that what you will.

if you add on last years figures for those 3 clubs we're about 4% ahead of last year

quite poor really

The warriors will get a large jump in members due to there new member options in Australia and the raiders look like they have a good increase also. Titans have not herd from them in 2-3 months so all in all its looking like close to 10% growth if things keep going to way they are atm.
