Tonight's jersey was a special edition with the Charity Nest Logo rather than the conventional Steggles Logo, with the numbers presumably ironed on. After the fiasco of the first half, they reverted to the normal jerseys with the Steggles logo.CBF reading thru the slop that is the game day thread- but can someone please explain the schmozzle that was the roosters jerseys tonight???
When were jersey numbers ever ironed on, and when did they ever use a new set, especially for round 26...?
If you want to be picky, it's generally heat-pressing not ironing - and in this case it was obviously done poorly.
As for new sets - they had a specialised sponsor as the Roosters generally do for their last home game, to do with Steggles Charity Nest. The jerseys they changed into at halftime all had the normal Steggles logo on them.
It's also not foreign for some clubs to use new jerseys every week or two.
