I actually liked it, until the spoof imagery was pointed out to me.

Now I love it!

Titans with no sponsors apart from upper chest?

Sorry, why were they admitted in 2007? #Farce

If AFL can make suns work on gold coast, surely RL can make titans work, as it is traditionally a much stronger RL area,

How much assistance has AFL given Suns to get these guys on board-

Host Plus - top 10 superannuation company in Aust
FIAT / Chrysler - 7th biggest car company in world
Virgin Australia - 2nd largest airline in Aust

How much support has NRL given Titans to get the following sponsors ?

Temporary Fencing Hire - 132nd largest fencing hire company in Eastern Australia

Should've been the Central Coast or Perth.

But they'll never learn.

If it hadn't been GC, and the Afl beat us there, and the Suns were as successful (or more) we'd all be blowing up regarding how the NRL forfeited this region

The location isn't the problem, it's been the set up and management

Yep, pretty much this....

They havent exactly gone out of their way to connect with the people or establish themselves as representative of anything in particular.
They arent a glamour club, they arent a classic Football brand and they sure as hell dont have the history behind them. Basically they are a whole lot of gimmick and not much depth.

If Gallop hadnt been shit at his job and not given Searle total freedom to create the club, that wanker wouldnt have ran the club off a cliff and we probably wouldnt be debating the benefits of a team in the region...

And now happily the Club has new management and a stable financial footing. A new coaching regime (belatedly) and a rejuvinated playing roster and there are definately reasons to be cheerful in 2015 for Titans fans.

Since when is it the NRL's role to acquire sponsors for clubs? Please.

The first two times (granted the Chargers had the rug pulled) and now twice this time?

Why should we keep propping up a region that clearly cannot sustain a club?

The seagulls / chargers did not fail, they were sacrificed in the reunification

Because its for the good of the game.

Otherwise, Melbourne wouldn't exist for example. That sort of thinking would mean Souths were out of the comp, never to return. Ditto for the Cowboys etc. etc.

An unlike Melbourne its likely that the Gold Coast can be sustainable in the near future. They also have a massive junior nursery and are in one of the fastest growing corridors of Australia.

That's a huge shame, and a mistake from the Warriors.

I would've released the 1995 away jersey heritage this year (white with red/green/blue V and trim). It just makes sense in the 20th anniversary year - plus that away jersey isn't even available as a retro release.

That wooden piece of rubbish makes no sense.

That's an awesome jersey.

Wish the Raiders would do more jerseys like these the Warriors do, they always look modern and have new design elements and yet still they're always stepped in history and culture.

Blows our heritage and Nines jerseys that're just images tinted green and then superimposed onto a jersey template out of the water.

It'd be an alright jersey if it wasn't the 20th anniversary jersey - instead it's just a re-hash of the same tribal design idea that gets hauled out every year as a 'heritage' shirt, the other year it was greenstone, this year wood, next year it might be a bone carving - who knows?

Sure, it covers-off the "Warriors" brand & it can be argued that they're celebrating maori heritage, and it'll sell like hotcakes for sure - but there's a place for these designs.. and in my opinion it's training jerseys and the Nines, where something a bit "out there" fits the occasion, and it doesn't muddy the clubs identity the way that wearing unusual colours during the regular season does. (Supposedly our colours are black, white & red).

Meanwhile there's a perfectly good design from the inaugural year of the club that's almost been forgotten, in the teams foundation colours.
