Well done tigers-your new away jersey represents neither club nor a new identity...
Smh

I disagree. i think its a perfect away jersey.....

They are obviously avoiding a predominately orange jersey (they need to favour the Magpies side of the merge SOMEWHERE). Black/White trimmed with Orange is exactly what they should be doing.

And the execution of this jersey is fantastic!!!

I would've thought that the home kit is very much Western Suburbs Magpies with the addition of an orange V. As you'd expect now really with the club virtually being financially supported by them.

Stability with their kits is a good thing rather than having 3 or 4 rotating throughout the season. Now, they (along with Dragons) need stability with their home ground venue. It can't be cost effective leasing several grounds throughout the season.

Away jerseys are generally supposed to be different to the core image... some teams in other countries play in fluoro colours for their away kits across different sports.

Tigers jumpers yesterday were horrible! My mother, a pretty big nrl fan had no idea what team they were until robbie farahs ugly mug flashed up on screen. I think tigers had the right idea in their 1st year ( and in their premiership as well) were they had 1 jumper that's was predominantly orange n black (for balmain) and one jumper predominantly black and white (for magpies)

Why? Because you disagree with it?

It's the truth. While some clubs just like to invert the main kit, the away/alternate/clash is supposed to be a chance for clubs to provide a stark contrasting kit, and an opportunity to experiment with merchandise.

Supposed to?
The truth?
Supposed to?

Please provide a source that says Away jerseys are SUPPOSED to be different to the core image.

If you can't, it is purely an opinion, which myself and many others would disagree with

Some clubs in other sports take the opportunity to use very different colour schemes. I quite like that most soccer clubs home shirts are recognisable around the world but each year they change their away uniform, sometimes quite dramatically.

They still cash in on merch sales as fans are still inclined to purchase the away shirt.

Should be the home jersey and the Nines jersey should be away, just my opinion though.

I liked the 9s and if we play raiders in canberra that should be the jumper we use, but unless we clash jumpers with the opposing team I love seeing the red and green stripes every week

I think home and away jumpers is the wrong terminology to use. It should be main jumper and clash jumper.

I think the nba has the right system of just using reversible clash uniforms. At least that way when you go to see the Lakers play they're always gold and purple, celtic are always green and white etc

And while soccer has completely opposite clash shirts ( the fluros etc) that's because they're are so many clubs with exactly the same shirt (in the nrl we don't have this problem, none of our 16 clubs have exactly the same main jumper as another team). In just the premier league alone theirs liverpool, arsenal and man u who play in all red shirts and even though they have the clash shirts they all try play in their iconic red shirts as much as possible. They don't just wear an away jumper for the sake of playing in an away jumper

Should be alternate to main colours, shorts and socks as well. Nfl has colour home jerseys, white away. Teams should have colour shorts home, white away, reason you have a different kit is to ore eat colour clashes on TV. Pointless wearing White and blue I stead of blue and white of the home team is in blue.

Well Parra seem to be avoiding wearing the yellow/ gold jersey this season so far. Looks like they have fallen out of favour with it.

Other than Knights and Roosters, and Parra/Titans/Cowboys, what real colour clashes are there!?

And if the NRL want new teams, they should be dictating the colour schemes to clubs - red/yellow, black/yellow - etc - so they won't clash with anyone.
