I dont mind it as long as its only Canberra doing it (IIRC the jersey sold REALLY well for tem last year, so it could be totally independent).

The Hulk jersey is actually pretty well dont (the rest were shit) and it is quite appropriate for the Green Machine branding. It wouldnt be a bad idea to try to make these official club merch and try to add a bit of crowd culture to the game-day...

The Marvel jerseys won some international award for sports themed licensing, beating out WWE, NFL, etc.

I think they mentioned last year that it was a multi year contract and would involve all five teams again.

The disdain people have for commercial interests in our game is hilarious.

If we didn't have sponsors willing to pump a billionty dollars into it, we wouldn't have the billion dollar+ product we have today.

I would love to see every team do a Star Wars jersey. It'd be so cool strutting around the city in an Easts/Sith crossover jersey (Pearce would look phenomenal in promo pictures with all the Darth Maul makeup).

Marvel jerseys are great, all clubs should be allowed one novelty Jersey. I don't think they need 7 a year but main and alternate plus one or two novelties are fine.

Yes we do both..

Even when we have novelty jerseys we stick a million ads on them, most the time covering the jerseys and ruining the novelty.
