A fantastic result.

It's good to see that a lot of members aren't listening to the lies and blatant dirty tactics from other parties anymore.
To Spags and Fitzy, leave this club alone for good now! The members and fans have spoken and we don't want you part of this club ever again. Take the message loud and clear and f**k off!

It's now time to unite as one and get behind ParraFirst and get this club back to where it belongs. The top!

Agree or not, he raises some interesting points. The rival tickets were out there to destabilise any credibility the board has, taking there antics to the media and creating an unwanted circus.

If you read back through this thread, I think you'll find that not too many would disagree with that.
Agree or not, it's the continued cheap shots by a small minded individual that many have found laughable.
Yet, he continues his little crusade. Or should I say, they do.

Thank f**k that's all over...for a couple of years at least.
Congrats to the victors.

I will say though, I am not opposed to competition for the board.
Opposition in elections is needed to keep the incumbents from becoming complacent.
I'm just not happy about the way they have gone about their ticket, and how this has all gone over in the media.

Good.
I'm not losing any sleep over what they will have to say.

What's that old saying?
"Don't pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel"?

I guess you could also add "...someone who has a high-rating radio show every day of the week."

Umm guess which paper is muckraking again ...

SMH: Parramatta appear set for a period of stability after the ticket led by chairman Steve Sharp swept to power at the Eels elections on Sunday night.

Telecrap: PARRAMATTA’S boardroom dramas are not over yet despite a convincing victory for chairman Steve Sharp and his team at Sunday’s club election.

I would have thought that a congrats well played statement would have been forthcoming. Even the most dire rivals say something.

Are the factions to embarrassed to say anything ?

I agree with Bart as well. Spags showed his true colours all along and continued in that vein.

He seems to have the ability of radicalising people to do say some really low shit.

Easy for me not to make comment of their shit, however we KNOW that it affects the players. Both Hayne & Hindy came out and said it after they left the club.

It also affects the club moving forward as far as retention and recruitment is concerned, plus sponsorship + crowds.

The ripple effect of negativity is wide reaching and cannot be ignored sadly.

Ok mate, this is where our media department needs to pull their finger out and start hosing this shit down...if that means putting more resources into that department than lets do it!

Hey all,

Literally the first time I've posted here, but I'm one of those jerks from the other side of the tracks, the other site - nospam07. Just wanted to say that I thought it was terrific that the vast majority of both LU and nospam07 saw through the crap and mud slinging attempts of a lot of the opposing tickets in the elections. Consistently both sites have fought the good fight, and now we (finally) have a board in power with a professional, club first mentality.
I have never quite understood the inherent dislike between the two sites, as I'm pretty sure we all agree on which members on each site are the ass clowns. Nonetheless, it was good to feel like the two sites had a lot in common this election. Certainly a funny thing to say when we're the two biggest Eel fan sites.
Let me be the first to offer the olive branch and if anyone wants to return the favour and visit on our site, let me know. I'll be happy to tell you who's worth listening to, and who are the aforementioned ass clowns.
Sincerely,
that guy from the other site.

Pricey and his surprise...
You are a wanker, Pricey. One of my favourite wankers but a wanker nonetheless.
C'mon media dept. Hose him down.

Actually you're wrong. It's the factions that need to close the door on this. They need to come out and say that we tried, failed and now we support the club moving forward.

Until merkins like Fitzy, Spags and Pricey publically back the Board and get behind the Club, we will stay on the same merry-go-round.

OK guys the election is over and I'm sick of deleting posts calling Jodeci out as you all know he cannot answer your questions here.

Next post I have to moderate will result in some one getting a holiday as I have enough shit to do here rather than babysit people who dont understand plain English.
