His first spell yesterday was pretty good. He beat the bat, got a few edges and 1 (?) dropped catch at slip. The couple of overs I saw today were pretty ordinary.

S Marsh's record is quite OK outside Aust (3 centuries in 11 tests, average 44). His brother's isn't ok anywhere.

I'm sure he would have, if they hadn't already lost the Warner review (which was very unlucky but technically correct).

Where is the BOD to the batsman ? and what makes it worse is that when it is reviewed they go back to umpire's call but the umpire is not giving any BOD.

There is no rule in the game that gives the batsman the benefit of the doubt. The only vaguely implied rule is the bit where it says that 'if the umpire is satisfied that......'

The weakness with the Kohli and Warner decisions is the protocols set up for the DRS. But, given those protocols the 3rd umpire decision were ok......even if the effect was ridiculous.

It may not be a rule but if you are a badged umpire they impress upon you that batsman gets BOD.
