First Perth NRL game I've missed in 16 years of being here, f**k them. When Todd decides Perth is a priority I'll start putting money back into it. Until then I'm enjoying a weekend in Albany watching historic car racing with the the $400 I usually put into the nrl's coffers.

Vroom vroom, love the smell of exhaust fumes in the morning.
BTW it's not up to Todd, but the ARLC.He can only recommend or not.

There is enough crap to clean up with current clubs ATM.

Can't support the nrl during the hard times??? Don't you think continuing to go to games to show the nrl that Perth should be considered in the future is the right thing to do? Obviously they won't ever put a team in Perth if there are people like you there who don't go to games when they have their feelings hurt. Have fun though...

No it clearly matters not a jot if the stadium in Perth is full or not. As Todd said "Perth isnt a priority". At least he has been honest which is more than gallop and smith have been over the years. After 8 years of being strung along I've had enough. Good on those that haven't. If they ever get serious about growing the game in the West I'll be happy to invest and do what I can to make it successful. Until then I'll spend my precious leasiure time and money on something else.

Mine won't be full, or the 8-9 I usually buy for friends, off to the car racing instead. Be interesting to see what the reaction to no expansion is and this weekend will be a test of it. Might just be me that's had enough or there might be many RL fans in Perth feeling the same. Given Souths have drawn 20k plus last two years should be interesting. Bundling it with test match was smart and will have helped I suspect.

This sounds eerily like the argument used by proponents of Perth > Central Coast a few years back when, after years of neglect, CC people stopped turning up regularly.

Does this mean you'll piss off from these forums then?

Good crowd in the City of Sails, we're a loyal bunch and glad we've been rewarded.
NQL was par, Newcastle don't seem to peek the interest when they play away.
Didn't catch the Melbourne figure, was hoping for a highish one, but saw the Weather there was bad. Edit: 11k
As for the Gold Coast... we know how the AFL accounts for these discrepancies.

Announced as 38k in the ground. Shite game neither side looked like they could score in a brothel. Shame a Greece fan let a flare off at the end.

Managed to get to the game tonight but was a pain in the arse with train track works on a couple of lines. Not to mention the weather was putrid. Our crowds will be on the up again soon I'm sure

No,RL fan until I die lol. Someone's got to keep the merkins in check.

What horse shit. You don't even like the sport. Youre no where to be seen in any match day threads or talking about an actual game of football. It's all about crowds, Perth and AFL for you.

There will be lucky to be 5k at the SFS today. Deplorable conditions with no end in sight.

To be fair we got extremely lucky with this weekend's draw. Some of the worst rain along the eastern coast but we had:
Canberra Friday (before rain)
Auckland - fine
Townsville - fine
Melbourne - less affected
Sydney - will be shit
Perth - assume fine

It's about as good as it could possibly get when we could have had games in brookvale, Wollongong, Penrith, Campbelltown, etc all get trashed

True, only two games in Sydney this weekend, we dodged a bullet there. At Least the SFS is partly undercover, If it was at any of those suburban grounds; it would be disastrous.

11,116 at Melbourne last night. Not too bad. Par I guess all things considered.

Will be lucky to crack 3k today at the SFS. Will be announced as 7k though I suspect.
