Apparently lol

It actually wasn't as tragic as I though. I was out there last night because it's really close to home for me and people were scattered all over the place up high which is why there was 8K.

Freezing night and it was much warmer on the top rows of all bays.

I still think Souths would do better at the SFS then they would at ANZ

When you're done with trolling, come on back.

I don't understand why you think I am trolling. I love this thread. Love love love. I love the outrage. I love the hand wringing and the gnashing of teeth! And without diabolical crowds like last night there is no content. There is no fuel to feed the fires of the Crowd thread. So. You see why I was thrilled with last nights crowd?

Didn't you know Frank your only allowed to comment if you can make an excuse for sht crowds. If your not justifying why only a few want to watch NRL live then your not welcome here.

Has a Sydney side got over 22k to a game this year?
Cowboys vs storm will definitely crack the 20k mark.
Titans up against the top team with special deal this week on the coast, that being if a punter buys a ticket for the next home game against the Warriors they get this weeks game half price. Plus the Titans haven't lost a Monday night game. I expect 15k+ on the coast this week.

Maybe in the wrong thread, but a genuine question for anyone who has an idea of how to quantify stuff, not trying to start a shit storm over tv coverage or scheduling. This season Broncos had no home daytime games, and think maybe one last season. I know the club and supporters would like some daytime footy at suncorp stadium. Meanwhile, Sydney teams, Raiders, Knights, and Warriors all seem to get a good proportion of Saturday and Sunday arvo games, Cowboys got a good proportion of their preferred Saturday night slot which suits fans. My question is what brings a better financial reward to a club - FTA coverage, or home games in a consistent time that can build crowds and a footy culture. Is the benefit of FTA all its made out, or is there some real money to be made by consistent large home crowds.

Round 1: Roosters v Rabbitohs 25,125
Round 3: Bulldogs v Eels 30,018
Round 4: Rabbitohs v Bulldogs 38,192
Round 4: Tigers v Eels 36,112
Round 8: Dragons v Roosters 34,483
Round 9: Eels v Bulldogs 31,815

You have to be trolling, surely. Gold Coast will get 15k on a Monday night v Cronulla - but you're not sure any Sydney team had cracked 22k? lel

I feel this sort of analysis might pique some interest in the Media Watch section - http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/forums/nrl-media-watch.284
