20k in the north is brilliant considering no JT, although Smith/Cronk QLD connection probably helps off-set that somewhat.

Hope Manly fans pack Brookie tomorrow. Based on last two days wouldn't shock me if Souths-Raiders is less than 10k.

Next week Tigers v Cows at LO will probably get 18k+ or close to sell out

Biggest game of the year so far for us

Good crowd in townsville, but I would have thought closer to 25k was possible, Apparently Storm are their biggest draw card outside Broncos, Saturday night preferred time for travellers, no flooding or bad weather to deter all those fans that apparently drive for hours and hours to be there, justifying why cowboys have to have home games on a Saturday night at 7.30. Not sure about the Thurston factor, people should have had this game locked in way before last Saturday's injury.

Given the Warriors' patchy form, they certainly do alright on average over there.

They had a solid increase from a 2007-010 avg of 12-15k up to a 2011-014 avg's around 16-17k but have dropped down to the 14-15k last couple of years. They are in the top half of supports teams.

Seems par for the game at the moment. Sunny Sunday afternoon for one of the biggest teams in Sydney v's poor form of said club and out of town team = 10-13k

Drags Souths' average down to 14,944 and they only have one game left - Monday night R24 v Sharks at ANZ.

It's true that on-field results effect crowds as it does with any club. Add to that, we are doing it in the most boring way imaginable.

But there's a deeper narrative that runs through this. Unfortunately, it only gets brought up when we're losing. This time, enough is enough. I know literally dozens of Dragons fans who will not be renewing their memberships, self included. The jersey has been hung up and I won't be attending any more games until the club's governance changes.
SOUTHS will have massive drops in membership next season too.

Don't worry, you're not the only one doing it tough.

I'll be renewing my ticketed membership though.

My plea to SOUTHS supporters would be remember when we didn't have our team to support.

Paying membership is very important.

I think you're missing the point.

The short term losses incurred by the club in membership $$$ are nothing compared to the potentially catastrophic effects of Doust et al. sticking around.
