Love it sharkies we need more hate and antigonising like that. The supporter traditions and feelings need to be stronger to drive attendances. No more of this apathetic cant be bothered and be nice attitude

Sharks legend Steve Kneen standing over Pat Jarvis from about 35 years ago.

Unmerged with that old pic is immortalised by forum legend Quigs who gave himself a ban because he had enough of following a frustrating team..will take a premiership to bring him back.

Check out his website www.eraofthebiff.com

Quigs, we miss you!

Is there anything that shows or supports a team's away support or drawing power?
We talk about home crowds because they're easy to measure but away support/drawing power, can that be measured? Even if a teams away support was averaged over a season or two

Going to take a bit to get averages up this year when one of the traditionally well attended clubs (Newcastle) are going to have a massive dip - going on membership numbers and given we will hardly win a game this year, our crowds will drop at least 3-4k on average.

Welcome to the new NRL, where the salary cap is a joke and the crowds don't matter.

Great crowd at sharks, sunny Sunday afternoon RL, if only we had more of it.

Parra may pick up that slack if they go on winning run

Yeah the knights have been on a steady decline in crowds and membership for the last 3-4 years. I too believe it will drop off considerably this season

Cronulla the 2nd best crowd for the entire NRL this weekend. Better than Parra, Melbourne and the Rabbitohs! Kick those grubs out of the comp! What a day out in the shire!

Knights fans have surprised before with their downouts in the rough patches. If the form continues then i would expect low crowds but this early in the season i would still say they are capable of 15-16k
