Have a read of the 31 page thread in the expansion forum about it...
You are write there has been talk about it, but that tends to change from crisis to crisis. years ago it was the sharks who should be relocated, now it's the Roosters and Sea Eagles.
The last few years, Tiger crowds have stunk and their finances have been awful, they have arguably the biggest spread of fans showing up when the sun shines and not showing up when things aren't so good

Showing up "when the sun shines"?

They have made the finals three times in their 16 year existence..

Lots of cloudy days there...

Even the three times they have made it they have been near bottom mid season and stormed home the last 10 weeks...

Like I said...would be interesting to see what they could average if they were in the top 2-3 all season like the Roosters 2013-15...

Absolutely they have a lot of potential fans more than the roosters or sea eagles could ever have. They also unfortunately have had drama with being spread out as well. between 2005 and 2011 they were one of the best supported sydney teams.

So will week 1 of the finals break any records?

Storm vs Cowboys - 27k
Broncos vs Titans - 50k
Raiders vs sharks - 25k
Panthers vs dogs - 25k

Not surprising but PNG Hunters have got a capacity crowd, 15,000ish to their game against the Sunshine Coast in their semi today.

I can't see the Storm crowd selling out or even being as high as they got last night. 20-21k I reckon.

Raiders v Sharks should sell out.

Broncos v Titans - 47-48k

Panthers v Bulldogs is a tough one. If the Panthers can get a good win tonight and then have game placed on Sunday afternoon, 30-35k is possible IMO.
