Yes mate. Been 3 times. Viewing wise it's great. I hate the look of the stadium, the bubble like look it has, it's gross.

Apparently the designers won an award overseas for the design of AAMI Park.

I agree it looks strange but inside its a brilliant ground to watch league.

Yeah just a personal opinion, I much prefer clean straight lines.

Loving the new small stadium being built in Toronto for their soccer team, one like that would be great for Parra. Looks basic, but clean and timeless.

I've never been inside but I drove past it in a taxi a couple of months ago. I didn't realise what it was at first but I thought it looked great. Then I realised it was AAMI Park.

I don't think Sharks will reach 19K but should hit 15k due to it being a blockbuster.
The Roosters and Sea Eagles will struggle to reach 10K, while we may just reach 12k against St George after that performance

aami's great, not your usual flat pack box boring stadium like most rectangular grounds tend to be. The integration of AV options to light it up and project images etc is also very impressive. Everything about it is top class except the drip lines in the most expensive seats but that seems to be an Australian trait for architects to not know how to build roofs that keep you dry.

I was surprise at the look of Suncorp on approach from outside, looks more like a giant ikea or multi story car park than a stadium with its rectangular walls exterior.

That crowd avg of 16,871 is very good all things considered.

BMO field in Toronto is a good upgrade example. Only cost $120million (Canadian) about the same spent on NIB yet they managed to build 4 stands to our 1 1/2. Australian construction costs are insane!

Sharks are expecting to genuinely put the house full sign up on Sunday for the first time in many, many years.

Some applications need to be made to council and police to increase existing capacity by a couple of thousand but those wheels are in motion.

It's a great problem to have.

Australian housing, construction industries are insane full stop. To re build/renovate my new place am expecting to pay about $300 per sq MTR. Watched a show and this Texan couple did this amazing high end reno/rebuild, cost the clients $90 per sqr MTR in US.

Yeah this one! Was looking at it the other day on skyscrapercity, nearly open. Such a logical timeless design with room to upgrade should they need. I think it's about 31,800 or so.
