You really dont think it matters Mongoose? It guts me as a Parra fan that we haver these no name sponsors. It makes me spew when I go into Macca's and see AFl stuff everywhere. It matters.

Watching right now I can see Dragons main jersey sponsors Jeep and St George. Roosters with Peugeot, steggles with QBE on their sleeve. All major national and international companies.

Newcastle less than expected and while it looks okay on tv at moore park i would still call it poor, only 31-32k imo. Plenty of empty seats in each stand for what is really an event game in perfect conditions. No excuses.

We will be down to 14k (half of them away fans) by the end of the year. A string of huge losses will do that.

Thats a pretty good crowd given how both teams are going. It goes to show that if it is a set fixture and promoted the crowd will turn up.
Newcastle would get a capacity each year if it was a set team (i.e. Manly) allowing for a rivalry - and if it was promoted in a similar fashion to Dragons v Roosters.

Got to get that Broncos game up to 50K and the Knights game up to capacity. As 'Raiderdave' keeps saying we need to promote those games a lot more and set the fixture (i.e. Broncos should play the same team each year).

One side of AAMI Park upper level looks full the other one is 85-90% empty. Foxsports have said might be around 24-25k. Anyone have any pictures of last years game and what they got?

I was out there and that's about right. Bit dissapointed but not surprised. The pre game atmosphere felt flatter than it has before. Didn't have the same feel about it as previous years.
