Look at those middle seats that have been reserved for Parra Members.................Empty.

I think the Eels Members have spoken.

That is 2 home games at ANZ in a row for the Eels and the members refuse to turn up to sit in those seats.

So you'd be happy to let 11k fans miss out? Crowd was 31k

Another good crowd this season. By the way comparied to the same time last year (end of R8) crowds are up this season by 4.9 percent.

Nope i am saying the stadium is rubbish for Eels members when compared to the sight lines you get at Parra.

Dogs and Souths seem to have gotten use to these rubbish sight lines.

Luckily for everyone this has been addressed with the new ANZ rebuild which will be awesome.

When is the NRL going to finally schedule a Dogs vs Eels game on the weekend? Would be huge.

Oh fair enough, thought you meant Parra taking their home game v Dogs to ANZ was a disgrace haha

It's not a purpose built RL stadium, I find myself looking at the big screens more than the field when I'm there tbh, keen for the reconfiguration too.

31k pretty good and if anything the 30k should be the minimum for Dogs/Eels. It's the type of game provided both top 4 could draw 40k+ in the future. All the rivalry games is where maximum attendance is needed to counter-act the low/non-drawing games. These games need to have the most promotion/marketing,etc possible being the top draws in the comp.

I agree CowboyFuriousFury.
It is a good crowd but certainly not a great crowd.
When both Parra and Dogs are playing well the NRL and/or the clubs themselves should advertise the game a lot more. They should arrange the trains to go direct to the stadium (if this doesn't already happen). Treat it like an event. We should be aiming to get minimum 40k but preferably 50k.

Its funny, which other Derby in Sydney in the NRL gets close to 30k a game on average on friday nights?

Take this game away from Friday night football and watch the number skyrocket.
