shaping up to be an interesting season...here goes my stab in the dark..

1. Broncos (beaten by a fairytale in the 15' decider, they are essentially the same team. If Hunt recovers and comes out for redemption he will go close to winning dally m. best team by a long shot)

2. Panthers (they wont have the same injury toll as the last two years and it will help them win alot of games. so much young exciting talent in this team if they stay fit. all pending on how they react to the new coach)

3. Sharks (same team plus maloney and chad towsend is massive. if theres a year they compete for a grand final spot its this year. awesome forward pack)

4. Cowboys (can see them going lower tbh. one of the teams i dont think will handle a few injuries as well as other clubs. but if thurston stays fit they will finish in andaround the top 4)

5. Roosters (not the same side they've been for the last 3 years. they have lost alot in maloney and RTS. they will slide)

6. Warriors (RTS + Luke + SJ + Mannering + Vateuvai + Matulino is mouthwatering. any decent coach and another geographical location and id have them sitting in the top 2)

7. Souths (Sam Burgess back is great for them but if they really lose Walker for it there backline has flies on it. Inglis is past it and if he has another year like 2015 they wont have alot of strikepower to work with)

8. Melbourne (They will do enough to stay in the eight but i seriously dont see them finishing higher. a prelim this year was a miracle for them)

9. Dogs (interchangable with melbourne. whichever team is hit hardest by injury i feel will miss out)

10. Canberra (side is on the up but alot of teams are. just dont see their defence improving drastically in 12 months)

11. Parramatta (I think we could finish anywhere from 5th to 15th and nothing would surprise me too much. great depth. for the purpose of being unbias il put them here)

12. Manly (I dont see them making this miraculous turn around under barrett and all these new players and partnerships in the blink of an eye. And if DCE gets injured its lights out)

13. Dragons (dont know why i put them so low after last year, dont see them in the 8 after 26 rounds but im probably wrong. Merrin is a huge loss and they haven't recruit that well)

14. Tigers

15. Knights

16. Titans

one thing i know for sure, is the knights, tigers and titans wont get anywhere near the 8. Their rebuilding journeys have only just begun and its foolish to think they are in a position anywhere near good enough to make the 8. Spoon will go to whoever gets hit hardest by injury.

I'm not saying it can't happen, but that's a bold claim considering their roster. f**king Sticky Stuart could win a Premiership with that team.

Thats a bit far ... Any other coach could ein the premiership with that team, but for Sticky, he could only hope for the finals

Since winning gf's is one tenth and consistency is 9 tenths I predict the usual suspects Seagles, Storm, Roosters, Dogs, Broncos and Cowboys to earn their sponsorships . . . what the rest do will be the intriguing part of the season

Ok, I'll have a crack.

1. Brisbane
2. Cowboys
3. Roosters
4. Warriors
5. Storm
6. Sharks
7. Rabbitohs
8. Eels
9. Eagles
10. Bulldogs
11. Panthers
12. Dragons
13. Raiders
14. Knights
15. Titans
16. Tigers

Every year there is a team that surprises & goes better than most expect, I think the Eels will finally crack the 8.
Vica-versa, 1 team disappoints - probably Eagles or Bulldogs but they won't be far away from the 8.

As for us, there's a lot tipping us for top 4. I'm not that confident of going that well, our forwards are ageing. I fear a repeat of 2008/2009 when we = minor premiers 1 year & failed dismally the next.

It's hard to pick.

Besides the bottom 3 I think anyone can make the 8.

A complete lottery. No doubt it will be way off

Rabbits, Eels, Roosters, Panthers all a big chance of the top 8. Raiders could very well be an outside chance of a top 4 spot if they fix their edge defence.

2. Cowboys
3. Warriors
4. Manly
