Juptiers Townsville was recently bought out and re-named 'the Ville'. They've just been announced as the new sleeve sponsor for 2016 replacing Brisclean.

Their logo is going to be interesting with our colour-set.

Apparently Knights to have a new major sponsor - Huntlee New Town (a development in the Hunter)

Is that a new major sponsor, or just a new sponsor coming on board with the Knights?
They only got Newpave as a major sponsor this season.

New jersey sponsor - replaces Newpave.

The green logo on the *hopefully* original jersey which will be our home jersey for 2016 will evoke memories of the BP sponsorship 20 years ago. Hope they integrate it rather than have a box with the logo inside it...

Apparently member feedback was that they wanted a darker blue from the conversations I've had with some fans. Odd.

Really. They are Royal Blue and Yellow.

Not some random shade of blue and whatever.

Don't the NRL have a say in this, I know the AFL owns the copyright to the uniforms and part of that is the colours. Any and all changes go through them.

The NRL need to be tougher on this. You can't have teams just randomly changing colours because whatever. :crazy::crazy:

It's a colour on one item of a membership kit (members choose one of three).

Looks like Huntlee aren't the new front of jersey partner - but the chestplate.

And in the first "main jersey of 2016" we see the Knights' Newpave sponsorship now has a blue bar across behind it.

Probably one of the few times a different coloured side panel would work. If it was red, it would be a vast improvement.

And we said why can't we just have simple consistent designs?!!

Well that's what we've got! Very slight alteration that most won't notice. Classic, iconic Knights look. Simple design.
