Thanks to everyone here for voting and spreading the word around - I stink at social media and would not have made it without the efforts of others. I've always wanted a design to make it to the NRL and am very fortunate to get one in for the team I support. Will definitely be getting one framed for the office.

Let me start by saying this could be a lot worse, and has been worse in the past. So my complaints are more nitpicky than anything...at least we will look like stgeorge on the field. The rest of this post is just me being a whinger

- the vee should go over the shoulder like the home does, and like the old jersey in the photo
- the old logo which is subliminated on the vee should replace the normal logo
- the vee is too shallow, lower the sponsor logo for this one week and have a deep uninterrupted vee like the old days
- I have no interest in text being written on jerseys...be it heritage, members etc, but that's just me

Beau on footy show had a dual jersey thingy going on and side by side it showed Souths v's roosters jerseys and f**k me the Souths crown sponsor is almost touching the logos now.... Whilst the roosters "steggles" was around 150mm lower.

I'd replace the chest logo with the old logo for a one-off, then shrink the sponsor logo and fit it in the base of the V. Sure it reduces the size for one game but the St. George logo would sit higher up, making it more visible in certain scenarios. Plus it gives a positive reflection of the company from a fan's viewpoint - acting in the interests of the game beyond just using it for exposure.

One thing I will be interested to see if they can do is the two toned "NRL" style number. As far as I know this hasn't been done so far. I think they would look a lot better if it could be done.

player jerseys will have the number printed on the jersey with UV ink..

special black lights will be placed around the ground to make the ink glow, so the spectators and commentators can still see the numbers whilst not obscuring the text..

quite an innovation, if you ask me, and a great way of combining the past with the future..

It is such a ridiculous improvement on the jersey when they have a full V. Id rather the shallow V if it meant not cutting it in half.

Edit: the water mark on the centre of the chest would be a nice permanent addition. Invisible when they are on the field, but a nice Eater Egg for the fan...

Depends when you last checked. Last work I did was a heap of designs for international RL teams. Working on some cricket stuff now but its taking forever to find the time to finish.
