I think it depends largely on who plays in which jersey. Most codes where the numbering is per player rather than per position players get an allocation of jerseys in their number each season (in case of blood etc) but in NRL I imagine it just depends on who's wearing it each week, team changes etc.

t’s the Broncos’ jersey that almost never was.

Now 29 years later it will finally get its chance to play a part in one of the most-anticipated regular-season matches in Broncos’ history.

Next Friday the Broncos will run out in a previously-unseen 2016 Heritage jersey, a strip that almost became the jumper everyone remembers.

This design was one of two finalists for the original Broncos jersey back in 1987.

It eventually lost the decision to the original strip Wally Lewis wore to captain the Broncos in their debut in March 1988, a stunning shellacking of then-reigning premiers Manly.

But on Good Friday 2016, Corey Parker will lead the current Broncos out onto Suncorp Stadium in the strip that could have started the iconic history of the club.

In keeping with the heritage design, the 2016 Heritage retail jersey will have three-quarter sleeves.

The old-style collar that everyone appreciated in the 2015 Heritage jersey also makes a return for this year’s edition.

Will they wear the sleeves on field also though? If so it would have to be XXXL Matt Sing style, if they go skin tight or half half like Corey there, will look ridiculous.

ANZAC training strip by the looks?

A bit over the camo stuff, just wear your normal stuff. Or de-sponsor it if it's a tribute like this.

The Broncos jersey is an interesting concept for a heritage jersey in that it least forms part of the Broncos history. Does look like a 1980's Bulldogs recolour for a local club though.

More like 3/5ths to me.... They should roll em up real fat and tape em up.
Looks better on this lad

The biggest problem i have with this is the white V on Gold; the contrast is awful....

Switch the Maroon with the Gold and it might turn out ok.

Having said that though, the V is SOOOO over done...

That's literally just a Roosters jersey with Broncos colours though...

Ignore that....the actual jersey is pretty much a Roosters jersey with Broncos colours......how idiotic.

I like your idea now that I've had a better look at it. Looks more clean.
