To the NRL they do, hence why he was charged...
Given that they state the arm must be tucked against the side at the point of contact and his arm was not tucked at the point of contact, it's clear the NRL don't know what the f**k they're doing.

You just knew when it happened that the MRC would find a way to charge him after letting Ennis off. I don't even think it's a case of certain teams, players etc being favoured. It is just the usual monumental stupidity and lack of common sense

Im sure skeepys opinion would be exactly the same if Sam Thiaday tackled Blake Austin like this.
He should be suspended end of story.
So should Ennis but the nrl love to f**k with us.

The upside of not making the finals is watching this shit happen to you lucky Mermerkins who are alive.

Can't wait for the game day thread this Sat... been plenty of foreplay already.

Most if not all grade 1 charges should carry no points penalties but just be a fine. Its not really a big deal if a player like maloney doesnt get suspended. It would be much worse if a player gets rubbed out of a grand final on a nothing charge.

The loading on a grade 1 shoulder charge is stupid high
