I wouldn't mind him there but he's prone to too many brain explosions.

Having said that, he's made for the Blues.

Leilua makes things happen and hes stronger than Walker and Jennings. He also keeps the ball alive and thats hard to defend.

Tedesco at the back would be lethal. Moylans gone good but to beat QLD you need better than good and I rate Tedesco a faster attacker and can do what Moylan does as well. Good ball playing skills too.

Id pick Brown from the Rabbitohs too. Hes Origin made. He likes to hurt people, he runs hard, he likes to scrap. Id give him a shot.

NSW lost the game with Jennings dumbass second attempt to ground the ball that did Frizell out of the try.

In that split second between Jennings reaching for the ball, and Frizell coming into Jennings peripheral eyesight, and in the heat of the moment,Jennings' mindset was getting to the ball before a Qld hand did.

It was unfortunate that Jennings wasn't an inch or so nearer the ball.

Or Frizell quicker on the spot. And that is football.

Qld were really never in danger of losing this match.Their experience simply took over when it seemed appropriate.

Brown is like 15 games into his career. I like his enthusiasm but he is not an Origin player and shouldn't be in the discussion for a few years.

No what ifs just facts. Channel 9 now on their half hour rant about how good qld are, the spirit blah blah blah when the fact is NSW were a finger tip away from winning

The fact is we lost. The paper tomorrow will read QLD 26 NSW 16.

No one remembers moments, only winners.

I agree with sentiment expressed on here. NSW will always struggle as long as Smith, Thurston, Inglis and Cronk are playing. Qld pick good players to play around them.

There's too many die-with-the-ball second rowers that create nothing. Frizell was a breath of fresh air but the rest were just front rowers without the impact. Cartwright would have been a good addition.

Good point. Id still field him. NSW have these guidelines for picking their players and it hasnt worked. Its time they think outside the box and take risks instead of picking what they THINK would work. Year after year they pick these supposed provens and same result.
