Walking off while the shield is being presented is fine.
But the Blues need to be aware that it'll p*ss off an otherwise increasingly complacent maroons team.
Also 2 games at Suncorp next year.

As for Cooper, he dropped a ball....I've seen that in the NRL heaps.
Players get less p*ssed when it's pegged at the back of their head.

But perhaps Fifita is just defending his crush, after all Moylan is very pretty.

I agree but tempers are high in the match. If you're going to do something as childish as throw a football in someones face while laying on the ground then you have to expect someone react to it.

Had it been Fifita throwing the football in Cronks face do you really think Qld wouldn't have reacted?

Cooper very well may have played his last origin match. He can thank his buddy Thurston for the call up in the first place.

Honestly, if Fifita threw the ball at Cronk...QLD would have reacted, but I doubt anyone would have ended up in the bin.

Cooper may very well have played his last Origin match, and lost it...but he gets to touch the trophy, and last year he got to hold up a premiership. He's got it all over Fifita right now.

What is everyones honest opinion on Cronks sin binning?

I get that it's a big call but if he hadn't of tackled Graham than he would have scored. It would have been a certain 6 points. I'm sorry but I don't agree that just a penalty would have been enough in this case.

If refs don't give players 10 mins for professional fouls then players will take advantage of it. We will have people tackled off the ball every game just to save tries. Giving away penalties on purpose knowing that you won't get sent off is a false security that we need to weed out of the game.

Cooper Cronk has used this tactic for years, it's about time he got marched for it.

lol.

If that amounts to 'instigating', Origin is dead.

There was nothing in it.

In the modern game??? Please. That's all that's left.

There's no secret that Fifita does some dumb stuff but someone had to do stand up and do something after Cooper's moment of stupidity. Why throw the ball into Moylan's head????? I'm glad he ran in. Finally someone from NSW showed some effing balls and an attitude that suggests they aren't going to open their arse cheeks and take it.

Hard to understand why Cooper felt the need to do what he did. Pretty disrespectful. You can just imagine the uproar from all and sundry if Fafita did the same to Cameron after scoring a try. I mean geez, talk about disrespectful. Thurston and co would bang on about it for months.

I personally have no issue with Cronk being binned there, if it was in relation to mounting penalties....I just don't think there should have been mounting penalties.

On its own, a penalty maybe.

Oh for sure he has it over Fifita. But Fifita will play origin for years to come, Cooper has played his first and last.

FFS he hardly 'threw the ball at Moylan's head'.

Massive over reaction from Fifita

I think it was a strategy in Cronks mind and I was expecting send off and penalty try.
However with so many other player's contending for the ball i understand why it wasn't given.

I think 'throwing the ball at (Moylan's) head' is a little bit melodramatic. There was nothing in it. Fifita lost his shit.

Its exactly what Cooper did. Dave Taylor got slaughtered for doing it, coopers was no different imo. Fifitas reaction was completely over the top and ridiculous but it was grubby from Cooper, I was surprised no one else reacted to it from NSW I saw it straight away.

Not sure about that. As long as Thurston is there, Cooper is in with a shot. Look at how many Origin's Tonie Carroll played.

Professional foul and he has a history of holding players back. Grabbed Frizell (twice) last Origin game and prevented him from nabbing Gagai before the try line. He does often for Mlb. I think it's becoming a blight on his game. There was no choice but to send him. However, if the game was north of the boarder, it probably would have been play on.

He has the ball in two hands and throws it straight down at Moylans head, its exactly what he did what are you looking at? You are the only one who cant see it.

I don't think just a penalty for taking someone out whom is going to score a try is enough. Cronk saved 6 points with that tackle, he got 10 minutes for it and NSW didn't score a try. If you ask Cronk today i'm sure he will say it was worth it and that he would do it again.

And because he would do it again, he needs to keep getting 10 minutes for it.

When did Taylor get slaughtered for it exactly?

It annoyed me no end, but nobody really ever blinked an eye...let alone ran from the other side of the field to chop him down

Probably because something like that happens every game.
He dropped it on his head, it was a sledge and it clearly worked.

As you could see with Moylan (who has a few more braincells than Fifita ) he couldnt of cared less.

Agreed, he has a history. We cannot continue to allow players to take people out. And if they do, the consequences need ot be high enough to stop players from doing.

Cronk is a repeat offender. He knows conceding a penalty is worth saving a try. He needs 10 minutes on the sideline every time he does it.

Daley will get another year because of that shit.

Friz easily the most damaging player in the first half. So what does super coach do? Take him off for the best part of 40 minutes. Genius.

He played in the middle last night so needed to be interchanged, but keeping him off for that length of time was an absolute cock-up.

Perhaps the Dugan injury threw in a spanner, but Daley has f**ked up the simple practice of interchange rotations in the majority of his games.

Exactly, as long as Thurston is there. I'm sure before the match they said Thurston may only have 1 more year.

Plus next year Papali will be back.
