had to laugh at Parker trying to emulate the great man Fifita's post try capitulation.
he ran in, puffed up.. shit his pants ...then ran away a loser in his last SOO game.

On balance, Gallen was the bloke who walked away the loser in his last SOO game.

QLDs forward depth is pretty f**ked with Parker gone now if they get an injury to one or two of their key forwards next year then they are playing plodders. Dylan Napa will come in but there aren't a lot of other decent forwards waiting for a shot. They are spoilt for halves and have some decent outside backs but they are thin of forwards. That's where NSW will really get them the next five to ten years.

Coopers ball throwing was unnecessary maybe but not wirth Fifita potentially costing his side the game. Moronic play.

I think Scott and Myles wont be far behind either.

actually he won his last SOO game
lost his last series

Sure, but two blokes (Parker and Gallen) walked away from last night's game, and will reflect on the series, and their careers...which one do you think will be most content?

Myles is a non factor out there already, the fact he still starts shows they are pretty thin. Scott is still a beast if they were without him for a game or two next season it would be very nice.

Well that pretty much settles Moylan, he is a five eight. Best I've seen him play

Tedesco was a bit of a hog but I think was trying to do a lot on his own, 20 odd runs for 253 metres in an origin game is decent

don't take too much out of that. it was obvious what Daley's game plan for Moylan was......have players running off him and he only had to distribute the pill. that shit won't be successful for long if he doesn't provide other threats to his game as a half.

And f**k I hate it when folks just point to numbers at face value. 100m of Teddy's metres were being put through holes by other players. One he bombed for not passing to support, the other he got run down by a stumpy legged midget. He hung onto the pill himself to boost his metre count. Otherwise, he got no penetration at all out of fullback and in the backline. in saying that, he's a big threat like slater was in hitting holes, but just plucking a number without analysing what drives those numbers is a poor way to back up a performance.

it's not the size of the number but how they were gained that's important. gallen and woods making big metres throughout a game means shit when they're gained with slow runs and repeat carries in a set. QLD hold them up and slow their play the ball down repeatedly. In contrast, Frizells metres are much more significant because they're made with explosive runs and he hits the deck rather than gets himself held up in a tackle and gets a quick play the ball for the next play.

Good for you.

Top shelf.

But seriously, one of the impressive things about QLD is how they have managed to replace exiting players so seamlessly- whether Price, Civoniceva, Harrison, Johnson, Te'o....they've been here before

well, I know. Parker's Origin career shits all over Gallen's.

Pretty out there plan to have players running off a half who then distribute the ball to them! Lol Moylan took on the line a couple times and is even credited with a linebreak in the stats though it wasn't really a proper linebreak, he will get better at knowing when to run the ball, he has been working on it at Penrith from what ive seen.

I didn't rate Moylan at 5/8. Maybe he will get better in time, actually of course he will.

But I think Bird would have been a better option last night at 5/8.

When they asked Daley why they picked Moylan he said because he has a kicking game, I don;t remember any kicks from Moylan in that game. I could be wrong.
