What did I miss?

Your stunning correction of my spelling of Fifita, or another quality contribution?

Yes, I read everything you wrote.
If you did, you wouldn't have taken another opportunity to have a dig at Fifita. His idiocy is accepted in this discussion, the debate is quite clearly around Cooper's actions.
I'm not.

I don't have a dog in this fight.

I just don't think what Cooper did was provocative.
You don't think somebody having a ball dropped/thrown/eshayed/lightly propelled/sent via express post/gently nudged toward their face is provocative?

I wonder if McGuire will have a meeting about that?

The two are intertwined. I was summarising my position.

I really wish Penrith fans would drop this Moylan/Tedesco rubbish.

You've just wondered why "Cronk ran Tedesco down" - if it was a straight-line footrace you could back Jimmy every day and twice on Sundays. But I'm not sure you're intelligent enough to understand Tedesco was running in-traffic and had to change his direction, hence Cronk being able to cover the ground to get him.
He had an open line in front of him. No traffic at all. And this is nothing to do with Moylan, who we know wasn't exceptional at fullback either. It's the wankfest over Tedesco who had a poor first half and somewhat better second half despite being fed the ball constantly. I'm sure he'll get picked again next year but the truth is Queensland had him covered all night. And I do think NSW overplayed their hand with him, once again especially in the first half.

If it is, there's cause for about 30 skirmishes per game

If you say they're intertwined, how can you deny what Cooper did provoked Fifita's stupid reaction?

Take the black and teal glasses off. 24 runs, 258 metres & 5 tackle breaks. He looked more likely than Moylan did at FB in the first two games.

Moylan had a solid game in the halves too after some early errors, but should we critique his performance?

Absolutely, but that comes back to Fifita's dumb act. Either way, Cooper's actions were provocative.

I've never argued that Fifita wasn't provoked by Cooper's actions...of course, he was. By that rationale, a salty look could be provocative. I'm saying he shouldn't have been...at least not to the degree that he was, which (as you've said) most agree with. If Fifita doesn't lose his shit, the vast majority of people don't even notice what Cooper did. Maybe a few just roll their eyes. Moylan was over it in about .642 seconds.

Gallen himself just got finished calling QLDrs bad winners and then shows poor sportsmanship himself. There was plenty of blue sobbing after Gal got booed giving a speech a few years ago. Short memories.

obviously he was right.
look at you all crying about penalties.
and who didn't clap poor cam smith..
and how poor old inglis got suspended for a deliberate shoulder charge to dugans head.
and how Jennings who ran along side a bloke who scored should've been penalised.....
and how fifita went apeshit...and how Gallen was booed once...
you won
just enjoy it.

Fifita was making a statement.
A big dumb passionate statement.
Even with the obligatory QLD fluke try the Blues found a way to win.

I thought it said a lot about Queensland, that they dug in and came back from the position that they were in to get ahead with a few minutes to go. Well, it says a lot about NSW and some of these young blokes coming through that they didn't give up and pulled off a pretty miraculous play to fall just short of the line; then held their composure to shift the ball left and come up with the match winner...defying all of the negative messages that a dead rubber game 3 would be sending their way, as well as the subordinate disposition NSW has right now...it was something special and hopefully bodes well for the future.

Regardless, I feel as though if it was Hodges who did what Fifita did with roles reversed, that QLDers would be all "YEAH PASSION" and "HE STOOD UP FOR HIS MADE QUEENSLANDERRRRR".

Didn't you just say you were getting sick of the Moylan/Tedesco thing? So why are you carrying it on?
YOU brought it up. I'm trying to outline to you that both had good games and Penrith fans need to drop the shit and accept Tedesco is NSW fullback for the next decade.
