His whole career hasn't just been with the Rabbitohs before joining the club he had a number of injuries with the Dogs including injuring his spleen which was almost a career ending injury.

Well I'm talking about his time with Souths.

I'm not a fan of having Gray in the side as well due to him being injury prone, but its a key fact that Goodwin weak point has been under the high ball and I think you will fined Goodwin is the guy he rush up in the defence line leaving players open and creating a weak spot in the defence line.

A rep player vs a rookie?

I will agree Gray has been very injury prone.

In his time with Souths Goodwin has played in 81percent of matches as previously stated.

Well when I say his injury prone I'm talking about his full career not just the past three years which he did miss some time due to injury in 2014 the year we won the grand final.

Question do you see Goodwin scoring a lot of try's next year?

Well I'm not fussed about his time at the Dogs.

No, I don't see Goodwin scoring a lot of tries in our backs.

In the backs I expect AJ, GI and Auva'a to score lots of tries. The other backs won't. But we have to field 2 other backs and Goodwin does lots of good things and is my 4th pick in our backline.

I don't expect Oldfield to score many tries either. Same goes for Gray and Simone and H. Hunt too.

Well I am confident Madge has 4 locked in his head. Goodwin being the 4th.

I think Irae will end up in the forwards, Hunt i don't see playing much first grade. The guy I think will end up on the wing next year will be Damon Goolagong

If we take the $6.8 mill salary cap and divide it equally among a 25 man squad it comes to $272k each, given that, I would not be likely to pay much over $700k for any of the top players lest it leave the rest of the squad too weak.

I think in 2017 we will see a lot of Goolagong.

I question his defence still. If he can get that in order he will be good.

He may play a couple of first grade games in 2016.

I will show you how I see things: (Estimations)

GI 800k
Sam 600k I reckon (then lots of TPA's)
AJ 250-300k
Auva'a 350k
Goodwin 250k
Oldfield 150k
Gray 250k
George 450k (then TPA's)
Tom 450k (then TPA's)
Reynolds 500k
Keary 500k
McQueen 300k (shopping him around but will have to pay part of contract)
Grant 350k (could be going too)

Cook cheap
McInnes cheap
Carter cheap
Grevsmuhl??????
Sutton cheap (been with Souths so long so costs us pretty much nothing)
Tyrrell cheap
Turner cheap
Clark cheap
Brown cheap
C. Walker cheap

That's for 23 players.

Souths are just a bit over imo. Greenberg has said Souths problem can be fixed quite easily too.

Get rid of McQueen and Grant and we will be right. (Possibly Grevsmuhl as Penrith are very interested in taking him early).

We have juniors ready to step up (80k they will get) in Musgrove, Olive, Gosiewski, Whitelaw, Simone.

We also have B. Gray, H. Hunt, Crichton, Goolagong, Murray and Saumamao.

It's good talent coming through.

Souths will be allright.

Isn't the cap 6.8 million in 2016???

Irae can't lock down a position in the backline and he is a big kid for a outside back 190cm 102kg maybe he would need to put on a extra few kg's but thats where i see him ending up

Dont know if hes really the forward type though, not a great tackler and doesnt really have the ball skills to be a Sutton type player.
