Hodgson will be a HUGE loss, especially with Austin already out. You're not going to win a premiership with a spine of Wighton/Williams/Sezer/Baptiste with Clydesdale on the bench.

Good game Sharkies. You guys were too good in defence. The warning signs were there with all the possession we had and very few points being scored from it.

That's a bit rough. They just got sprayed by the crowd for the past 80 minutes plus warm up. all the games I ever played at Canberra stadium and worked at were second only to the manly crowd in spraying the opposite team
All teams cop it. I can't comment on what was thrown Ennis' way as I wasn't there but you'd expect him to carry himself a bit more professionally. I've been to games where individuals have said some absolutely disgusting things of the players on field. It's part of the players job to put themselves above it imo, its what happens when you enter into public life.

So long as a personal line hasn't been crossed (and I imagine that Ennis has a tough skin), It's really considered banter and part of the game. Security should be the ones to handle anything that gets out of hand.

Gesturing the crowd like that is the sort of knee-jerk emotional reaction I'd expect out of Fifita, not a team leader like Ennis.

I'm probably reading way too much into it either way. His performance was more than enough to shut the crowd up.

Yeah reading too much into it.

Adds to the theatre. Crowd revving the players up, players getting involved without swearing or giving the bird, like Tallis used to do.
It's all good fun .

I agree

Beating england in the ashes was all the more sweeter after graham swann wound us up with his sprinkler dance. Hopefully it fires the boys up for the next time we meet

Good game from the Sharks. Sort of fell apart after Hodgo went down but I still think it was a quality game.

Sat next door to the Sharks bay and they did a good job for their team and contributed to a great atmosphere.

Well I'm glad sharkies won, they will be a lot easier to beat than raiders if Broncs get past the loser of storm/cowboys
