Vaughn will take Priests today
we'll find out soon if he'll be in the first 13 or come of the bench, I'm thinking the later as JP and Boyd will be on first. Expecting big minutes from Vaughn today

Huge risk playing both Austin and Hodgson

Nothing to lose I suppose
Except everything

In all fairness they would have lost without them anyway (well Hodgson - maybe not so much Austin) - so it's a risk they have to take. Absolute worst case scenario they both go down during the game but the consequence of that would be the same as not playing them to begin with.

My point is that I don't think the Raiders could have possibly gotten close without Hodgson anyway - he's by far their most important player and they're a completely different side when he's not there - if they go down to 15 yes they lose, but they lose without him anyway IMO. On the flip side if he gets through the game the Raiders are massive chance of winning and winning well.

I think you're giving Penrith far too much credit, they aren't anything special

Anyone watch Friday fever on nrl.com?

Adrian lam saying that he's played many times with hodgson's injury. Said with a needle you don't know there's anything wrong.

They'll be needling him up a few times if he gets anyone piggybacking on him.
