This final depresses me because they are my favourite of the remaining teams and I wish both could be in the grand final. Who ever wins will be the team I go for next week.

Last 6 wins, here they are:

Roosters, Knights, Tigers, Titans, Manly and Canterbury

deadset.. only 2 of those teams made the 8, both of which came into the 8 desperately out of form

Storm have beaten the likes of Cronulla and the Cowboys and the manner in which they did it was convincing, especially the Cronulla win

Yeah we are not in better form that melbourne but i have been pleased that we disposed of lowly teams quite easily it was quite a challenge for us earlier in the year.

So who replaces Blakey?

Surely not Hardacker? Unless Yeo goes to centre and Moses Leota plays in an unfamiliar 2nd row spot.

Think this game comes down to the health of Hodgson. If he's out there and running freely and engaging defenders and being his usual self, i think we win... i just cant see how he could possibly be 100% and at his best a week after that injury.

I suspect he'll be pretty limited in his running game and that'll be enough to limit our attack and get Penrith over the line.

Anyway, even money game this IMO, Raiders fav with the home ground. But these Penrith kids are full of confidence and it wouldnt surprise me one bit if they blow em off the park. At the odds I'll take the panthers.

This I also believe is a defining factor. The money has come in for the Raiders and evidently so and all the talk has been about the availability of Hodgson. Yet, it remains to be seen how effective he is. Canberra deserve good favouritism if he is able to replicate his recent form, but with his injury, if he is a shadow of the player he usually is, well that will really help Penrith. If Hodgson fires I reckon we could get a trouncing but if not we have a good shot.

On Triple M they have just said that Hardadker will come into the starting side and that Leota comes onto the bench.
