Perhaps people were overstating how good they are at this stage in their development.

Yeah well if you count our 8 wins of the last 9 we've beaten Brisbane at Suncorp (when they were in poor form) Titans by a point up there and a clueless Bulldogs side. We've played well in beating average or poor teams by good scores but tonight is a huge step up with this crowd and this forward pack of the Raiders owning us so far.

We've improved out of sight since mid season when I thought we'd be lucky to finish top 10 but to beat top 4 teams you need to play a lot more intensely for 80 minutes. The only thing in our favour is that 12-0 down isn't quite game over yet.

Even with 10 mins to go, 12 nil down is nothing to the Panthers. They gotta a whole half to play catch up, they just need to settle and grind. Cleary is the key Im guessing..

From the stands it looks scrappy. Wighton and hodgson playing well in the raiders spine. Panthers are making metres but just screwing up when it matters.

Like i said earlier its a sign of how inexperienced these lads are. Compare it to the machine like performance of the bronx and cows last night.
