The Raiders came out totally pumped up, dominated the first half, had 58% of possession, the majority of calls their way including a couple of really critical ones, yet with 10 minutes left were in danger of losing to a side that dropped far too much ball, missed heaps of tackles and had appalling last tackle options. A month or two ago they'd have scored 50 under those circumstances. Their blistering attack seems to have deserted them. They looked like the Bulldogs yesterday, big and strong but not much in the way of expansive attacking play. It was bash and barge, but it did work well up to a point.
I think the Storm in Melbourne will wait for them to wear themselves out and then strike, and win comfortably. Sort of what the Panthers tried to do but without the errors and penalties, and with a much different share of possession.
