It's all to do with this young squad in knowing each others game inside out. The biggest notepoint is the defense. That will be the springboard in going further in this competition.

You've got Hayne, Jack Bird, Chris Mcqueen, Luke Lewis, Beale, Tamou, reynolds, Klemmer, radrara, walker, tapua, lolohea, boyd, milford, blair, kahu, gillett, thurston, o'neill, taumololo, morgan, Johnston, I'm sure I've forgetten a few, but these are just the origin and kiwi players that are at the tournament. Plenty of good first graders like Norman, Feldt etc and some young stars like French, Ponga amd cleary.

I think people cant handle that 9s is fun but kinda boring, the over emphasis on attack breaks all the tension you get in normal league

I think there being less at stake in these games allows players to back themselves easier.

Coaches wouldnt be happy grubbering a ball dead in an NRL game. Here it really doesn't matter too much.
