A home teams home record is an indication of the home teams form.
All but one of our 5 wins at home came at less than 6 points. We have been very poor at home.
No other team has had such bad home form as cronulla who will play in the finals. None

Are you thick?

Yeah sorry guys I know we've won the last 3 games but remember those 2 home games we lost a while back, yeah I'm not gonna show up cause of that.

All of your losses bar 1 were by 8 points or less. That includes losing to the run away minor premiers by 5 (in a game you should have won) and losing to the 2nd place team by 2.

That's not a team who's form has been average. Again, 14 wins 9 losses (likely to end up 15 wins), a top 5 finish and most of the year looking like a top 4 finish and one of only a few teams who can honestly say they can beat anyone in the comp at their best.

But shit they're home record is only 5 from 12, what loyalty from the fan base!

Im not arguing if its not a valid reason for you or not. I frankly dont care.
Im just correcting you on whether or not we have good form at home.
We dont.
The reason why Cronulla has had crap crowds is Thursday & Friday football.

Seems it isn't hurting cowboys playing a Thursday night. maybe Cronulla just doesn't have many fans?

Souths don't lie, they just have a larger proportion of non-ticketed members than other clubs. It's a clever extra revenue stream and I don't understand why other clubs don't do it.

This time last year this thread was polluted with whinging about the unjustness that the Raiders would potentially have to play a home prelim in Sydney... did the NRL end up amending that for 2017?
Yeah, the Faders were excluded from the 8.

25k plus capacity deadshit.

Very good crowd for a Thursday night though and as a RL fan, I'm happy.
It was sold out, end of story. And that's exactlt what the club and media accuratley reported before the game and you stil want to argue about it you f**king gronk?

If season ticket holders cant turn up because its a Thursday game wtf can the club do about it?

we were told we were going to win the comp this year
not just go well
if we'd got even close to those expectations theres no doubt we'd of broken our attendance average record of some 17500 odd set in 1995 i think
our crowds still rose despite our team stinking the joint up from pretty much the start of the season

your team are the premiers , & til last week were a top 4 bound side
so they're are few excuses for the sharks im afraid
We were smart enough to know that we probably won't win 2 in a row.
I like how you are completely ignoring my comment about us have 3 Thursday night games against interstate teams.
3 free to air ch 9 games
Last year we had 0 .

That effects a clubs overall crowd figures...as we have seen from almost all other games played on Thursday nights.

I usually take my son
But Thursday night is too late for a school night.
I didn't take him.
I wonder how many others didn't take their kids or just didn't go on account of that shit time slot.
