Its a poor turnout. Looks like rugby league isnt attracting the neutrals like it used to. Their's mid to high 20000 at the SFS but it should have been well over 30000.

Looks like it might be the lowest NRL era prelim at SFS.

Previous low was 27.5 twice, Cronulla v Melbourne in 08 and Parra v Melbourne in 99.

In both cases there was another larger crowd in Sydney that weekend at least.

The members area is full. It is very very close to 30K. Still disappointing but it's not the end of the world.

These same two clubs played a prelim at ANZ on a Sunday in 2004 and it was 43k.
