Notice Broncos, Souffs, Panthers,Cows and Warriors have not updated for a while.
Must have tortoises working in their membership depts.

You'd have to think if they got off their backsides and updated, the figures would be close to 200,000 by now.

Interesting you omitted the Sharks, who've not updated in a similar time frame.

Must have known I could rely on the Sharks. They did in fact up date ,and today they have gone from 9,124 to
9,568.
The ones I mentioned above have shown didly squat change.

I got an email saying the Warriors were shut from 16 Dec so that'd be why they're not updating today

Nope, he didn't. He inferred clubs are "struggling to beat 10k" which isn't entirely correct in itself but he didn't say that we're being left behind by other codes. The furthest he went was to say other codes have been able to boast about healthy crowds in that 20 year period.

Nope didnt say, think or mean anything like what you said. Dont speak for me or put your stupid thoughts to me. I couldnt give a rats arse to be honest about other codes. Simply made an observation that the crowds have not really increased that much in 20 years. For what its worth Soccer wasnt attracting anything like the crowds they are attracting these days.

Be fairer to say they haven't increased in ten years. 20 years ago they were around the 11k Mark.

Best ever crowd period was 2009-2012

well youve essentially said it again lol ...
ill call stupidity out where ever i see it
& im seeing plenty from you

again for our dim witted friend
why should RL crowds have increased that much , when no codes crowds have increased all that much in the last 20 years , mainly due to the set ups of the comps , teams involved , & broadcasting being widely available to most people so they don't have to attend games to actually see matches like they did 20 years ago & of course where RL is concerned , Monday & or Thursday night games.
All have had an effect.

but no ... please by all means plead your innocence
then repeat your flawed ridiculous views again lol

Soccer surely must have increased crowds in the last 20 years.

The comp got restructured with name changes and stuff but they have grown immensely.

Unless I just never saw any footage of a packed out stadium from back then.

then the restructured comp is the one comparisons should be drawn from
the a league
not the NSL as it was very different ...

yeah
what about 20 years ago then?

soccer must have must bigger crowds now no matter what they call the teams.
Isn't Sydney just basically Sydney Olympic?
or was that change before A league?

FTR I know less than nothing about soccer
The only thing I do know is they fall over and feign injury at least every 3 seconds of every game that gets played.

What about basketball? Perth Wildcats have gone from crowds of 3,000 to 11,000.

Are we using a 20 year mark or a 12 year mark lol?

and every other team in the NBL has probably gone from 11K to 3K

plus

we're talking sports
not individual teams

Three days out from Christmas and 10 out of 16 clubs are through the 10,000 barrier
Another three will be there by New Years Day I'll wager

Seems getting wid of Wobbie has been a good thing for the Tigerpies - on fire!
