Perth teams? How many nrl teams do you think are in perth lol

and you missed my point not surprisingly, that there are zero for a Perth NRL team but plenty for other sports, why? Because the NRL is sht at growing the game. We'll just have to content ourselves with those sports that do want to engage with the Perth public.

but to be pedantic to you response he didn't ask how many members for a perth nrl team. He asked how many members do "Perth teams" have. I threw in the NRL one to show there is a whisp of life left in RL over here.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs continue to surpass key milestones in Membership, with the Club surpassing the 10,000th Pet Members for the 2017 season today.

The milestone represents a significant achievement and is believed to be a world leader in such membership.

Rabbitohs prop-forward Tom Burgess, was excited to hear about the important news today.

“It’s a great achievement to see so many animal lovers jumping onboard, I have 2 cats myself and I know they follow me in my passion for the Rabbitohs ,” said Burgess of the milestone.

“The fans have been so dedicated for so long, and it really shows walking around the streets now. South Sydney fans aren’t afraid to show their support, and to know that we’re cracking milestones in Pet Membership it’s pretty exciting for all Bunnies pet owners.”

“It’s always good to know that you’ve got the fans and their pets behind you – they’re massive for us,” said Burgess.

“So I say, don’t think about it, just join up! We’re building something here and we want everyone to come and become part of something that we think is, and will be, a pretty special ride moving forward.”

Great work by the bunnies on this one. Leading the league in innovative ways of engaging their fans.

Looks like Tom burgess is a big cat lover. Good to see , looks the more homely type out of the 4 brothers.

So in other words people are becoming members but still never going to games like what's the point. In round 1 a souths home game against the tigers crowd was 16000. I'm sure some of those were tigers supporters probably 1/3 atleast. So out of 28000 members only 10000 south supporters turn up to games. This is just one example. The crowds are being let down by their own members. Plus there would be people who are not members at the game a few thousand. Say 3000. The crowd should have been 36000-40000 if the actual members turned up from both teams.

The Dogs and Cats that have Souffs memberships aren't allowed to games.

Maybe Greenberg can look into this?

It would be great if the nrl could have the clubs updating it live but the numbers seem good. With all but 1 or 2 with the potential to be over 15k, I think is a success. All clubs over 20k next year I hope.

One question I have is why hasn't all these increases in membership over the past 5 years translated into increased crowd attendance?

In fact crowd averages have declined but membership have increased considerably.

Im a member, I'm on afternoon shift for 6 weeks and guess what we've got 6 Friday games in a row. Scheduling is crap. I might not bother next year if its as shit as this again.
