I hope the off field dramas affect the Tigers on the field.

Souths issues affected us last season.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Tigers seem disjointed. The culture doesn't seem to be the best there currently.

I'm really hoping for a Souffs loss here - For no other reason than to see R20 have a complete and utter meltdown

Says rabs 20 who constantly highlighted Farah last year as the source of bad team culture, until of course he signs on with lol@souffs.

The rabbits seem disjointed. The culture doesn't seem the best there currently.

Still confident despite the loss of Reynolds. The Tigers spine has barely had any chance to gel over the off season whereas we've been pretty slick.

The last few times we've lost to the Tigers we've either been heavily disrupted by injury or in terrible form. I think this is a good chance for our guys to show what they've got.

Farah and Sutton's kicking game can alleviate the loss of Reynolds and with Kelly's organisation it should be enough to get over them.

Hoping the Tigers get back to their usual average selves.

Besides that we've got a fairly good Round 1 record; last four Round 1 games we've averaged 34 points for and 9 against.

Anyway whatever happens happens so it wouldn't surprise me to see either a win or a loss. Only time will tell.

Inglis/Tedesco (neck and neck)
Goodwin >> Rankin
Farah >> Mcillwrick
Burgess/Taylor (neck and neck)

Our 1-7 has so much speed to burn over them it isn't funny

Apart from those guys Souths have a pretty ordinary squad. I don't see how they are favourites?

ill be pretty disappointed if we don't roll Souffs
Seriously?

Inglis = Tedesco
Johnston < Nofoaluma
Hunt = Naiqama
Talakai = Idris considering he hasn't played in two years
Goodwin > Rankin
Walker = Moses
Kelly = Brooks
Tyrrell < Woods
Farah > McIlwrick
Musgrove = Seumanufagai
Sutton > Sue
Turner > Lawrence
S Burgess > Taylor

Souths bench > Tigers bench

Only threat from you guys is your speed.

Farah getting shown up the the 3rd choice hooker of his previous club would be golden

I've tried to be unbiased as possible but did you seriously just equal Moses and Brooks to your halves nobody has even heard of?

Everybody On the Souffs forum doesn't rate Talakai at all whereas everybody rates idris so idris > him

Hasn't Musgrove only played like 3 NRL games? compared to Ava who is a seasoned NRL veteran?

possibly the two worst back row pairings in the comp but ive never rated Sutton in the forwards. Always been a back for mine whereas Sue is very lethal on the edge

Burgess bro's are good for a few dropsies here and there but what else?

Normally I look at opposition team lists and I feel like they have got us all over the park but with Souffs I'm truly not feeling it, you're overrating them a fair bit

You've never heard of Cody Walker? He was very good in first grade last year.

I rate Talakai. He has been very good in the pre season games. Idris is a weapon out wide in attack, but I think he isn't a great defender, and can be beaten with some nice foot work.

but ive never rated Sutton in the forwards.

I do. He is a good second rower.

Sam makes a lot of metres and makes lots of tackles. The twins will be making lots of metres if they get back to their best, or close to it. Hopefully Madge has George on the interchange.

Bzzzzt. Sorry. Not even close on 2016 form.
Walker was good in first grade last year. Moses sometimes looks good in attack, but sometimes looks crap. His defense is weak. So Walker is a good first grader and you say it's "not even close" which means Moses must be a star player. Well he isn't. Not yet anyway.

When a neutral supporter even agrees that Moses is better, you know you're clutching at straws

Walker was good but nowhere near the class of Moses at his best

He said "not even close", and that is wrong. Moses can't be judged at his best only, because he is often weak, especially in defense.

Moses nearly took his dud side to an unlikely finals birth all on his own without teddy and Brooks for most of the games.

Walker led Souffs to an uninspiring 13th? I know who I'd rather

When even frog is rating a tigers player above someone, you know it must be pretty obvious

And what are you basing that on?
We will see on Friday.

It's just my view and what mates who go for Dragons and Parra are saying too.

Souths had off field drama last season.

You guys are getting it with Simona and Lovett. Plus you've got star players thinking about their futures. I don't think Taylor is the right guy to lead you guys forwards either.

Surely Brooks and Moses aren't 100percent with their injuries either.
