UNless they got blind drunk and made an embarrassment of themselves, is there really anything wrong with that?

Unless it's against club policies then fair enough.

Proud of the club. Takes balls to drop 3 first grade players. 2 internationals and another who is a huge part of our backline. Compunded with injuries its a lot of talent missing:

1. Moylan
2. Mansour
3. Peachey
4. Blake
5. Hiku
11. Cartwright

Half injured. Half dropped for drinking. Meanwhile Broncos sweep shit under the rug to keep a repeat offender in the team.

The margin will indeed be smaller with those players out, but i feel like we should still win in front of a home crowd.

Wish I loaded up on Souths at $3+. Damn those would be juicy odds for what will be a reserve grade backline for Panthers.

I agree it seems a harsh rule to not allow them a drink after a game but we have team rules for a reason and the other 15 guys managed to comply then they deserve to be dropped. The most disappointing thing is that it is our captain and two guys who are really competing for spots still. When Mansour is back there is no guarantee blake or Hiku will be in our top 17.

Possible Backline?

1. Edwards
2. DWZ
3. Whare
4. Yeo
5. MWZ

Apparently Oldfield is playing also, he hasn't been named in the ISP side. I think it will be
1.Edwards
2.DWZ
3.Whare
4.Oldfield
5.MWZ

Oldfield and Malakai play in the same side in cup so I would keep them together. Im keen to see how Edwards goes at FB but I think theres a chance DWZ will play FB.

No matter what we run with... we can't expect to win without Moylan, Blake, Peachey, Mansour and Cartwright. Those 5 players were part of our 1-7 that took us to the finals last year. They are all key players in our attack.

The backline this week will be interesting to watch. But it's hard to expect them to match it with even a shit NRL backline.

Looking forward to seeing Edwards in his natural position, the guy looked a star on debut against the tigers from the wing the other week
